    Hiya!

Hope everyone is well, and hugs to anyone who needs them.

We had a lovely, if busy, weekend. We went down to Minehead on friday, which was Bronwen's first trip to the seaside. It was lovely down there- the weather was gorgeous and we found a really cool toy shop that sold old fashioned wooden toys, rag dolls etc. Here is their website: http://www.toyahoy.co.uk/ So we bought a few bits and pieces in there.
Had a nightmare car journey back though - it should have taken 90 minutes, but took almost 3 hours. Luckily I took plenty of extra bottles and formula, so we were ok, but Bronwen was getting a bit grumpy towards the end of the day!
    ooh that site is lovely!
eep at bad traffic!! I hate it when your stuck in traffic with a grumpy baby, how I've never crashed while staring at them in the back I don't know :o

errr :D No you're understandably worried but I'm sure it's fine.

    Do you know your cycle?

That's the only way I know I'm still oving, I've not bled since the teeny one not long after the birth but I learnt all the signs when I was preparing to ttc Edgar.
I've had all the symptoms of oving (ewm etc) and of periods(spots, moods, pain!!) but with no bleeding,
Well I have had a few times where I thought I was gonna come on, but didnt, so maybe thats it, I'll keep a lil check on it.

AM, it's different hormones that control ovulation and bleeding. You can still ovulate but not get the hormones to shed the uterine lining. Biologically, not bleeding could mean that you are not having a drop in progesterone and oestrogen, but it's FSH and LH that controls ovulation in a very basic explanation... And don't worry about the womb lining not being fit for pregnancy, it will be renewing itself and still fresh, there is no such thing as a 'build up of old blood', despite some outdated warnings about running packs of the pill together!
    Thanks for that x

If it were me I would probably start tracking fertility signs by observing mucus and taking basal body temperature and then if I was still concerned after doing that for a while I would go and speak to my GP about it and take the information with me that I had recorded.
Sorry but I have no idea

AM, you need to take your temp, first thing in a morning, before you get out of bed, or even wake properly i think. This is then recorded. There is a difinate switch during ovulation...think thats correct x

Weekend was hard work, OH was away with friends so I had all 6 kids in the house at one time and was trying to keep mood happy for DD, not an easy task but went quite well. She phoned about an hour ago, CVS test done and results Thursday pm. She said it was not very nice at all, but they also said she had 5 times the average pregnancy hormone in her blood that causes morning sickness which is why hers is so severe and also found that she is Rhesus Negative. Not having an easy time of it!

There's a little bit of info here on Wikipedia. There's more useful information on fertility friend and I also have Fertility: Fertility Awareness and Natural Family Planning. You can also find information by googling "basal body temperature", "fertility awareness", "natural family planning" and "billings method". If you wanted to borrow the book, I'm sure the fairies could arrange it.
