Hugs for poorly babies and mummies, and the little ones getting their injections tomorrow.

    Cake for mummies and daddies.

Husband had the bright idea of inviting a friend of his for dinner to fill the awkward silences between us and our pukey houseguest (leaving tomorrow). The friend is behaving appallingly, I'm seriously wondering if she took Ecstasy before she came. She's refusing to allow anyone else to talk.

You two know how to pick em

update on weezl's work and money situation: It turns out I am eligible for the employer part of my mat pay, and if I do 8 KIT days between now and Christmas, then I can have £110 per week of SMP (weird, as I thought it was just a fixed amount!?) for the 39 weeks.

So that's tentatively good news :)

Next tasks: email my new line manager (new in post since I left) and suggest 8 KIT days, and see how she responds. Fingers crossed.

    Looking good!!

    Fingers x'd for you too.

I've just missed corrie :( Ed threw up so I was leaning against the sink while he chucked up over my shoulder, then had to strip, wash redress me/edgar and scrub the carpet and my brand new not-uggs that I only got today  then get Chris washed n dressed for bed, so I'm now sat here with Ed refueling and Chris not drinking his milk

The monster and I withdrew, and she's now left. Not before saying some appallingly racist things.
