We are off out in Brum :j
Mum and dad are coming to look after Benjamin - they are going to be shocked at how much he has changed in the last 4 weeks! And hubby and I are going to see Tim Minchin
We should head off late afternoon, a few scoops, a bite to eat, a few chuckles, a few more scoops and a hotel for the night!! Can't wait!
(we can't afford it at all but we are ignoring that bit)
please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
OH has disappeared into the darkness (of the comp room) with a very screamy Rhys..
Every day, I've said "he's been like this all day" and today he asked me again so I said "he's been like this all week" and his eye nearly popped out his head  Seemed to have forgotten all the rest.. I guess that's the Groundhog Day effect!
More dirty nappies finally but it' not stopped the screaming.. Plan of attack tonight has started with Bonjela, a bottle and now Daddy cuddles.. Calpol on standby
No idea about tomorrow.. Same as usual but with Daddy home from work at lunchtime and the vague increased possibility of Mummy getting some jobs done0 -

DS1 has a Hallijoloah (however the heck you spell it) from 12-3pm, to dress up as a hero (no scary outfits - boo) no idea what to dress him up as, his power ranger dress ups are too small...
Got some stuff for any kids who come to the door, got a pretty witch dress for Amber, they boys outfits are ready so if DH gets a shift swap he will take them trick or treating, if not I will0 -

Andrew's discharge meeting has been organised for next Tuesday - which was his original due date! So he could be home a couple of days after that!
He's cycling off oxygen into air now - he threw his nasal cannula out of the cot earlier, so the nurse gave up for a while! And without the oxygen, he's fed much better - still not perfect, he doesn't open his mouth wide enough really, but he knows what he wants when he's hungry enough to hunt for it.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Hello all I'm new to the parent thread had my baby girl on Monday!!
I've been breastfeeding but started expressing today only a few ounces in two bottles and she takes it fine, I understand from classes I can keep this in the fridge for 24hrs, if I feed her and a bit is left over can this go back in the fridge for her next feed within the 24hrs, or do I need to bin it? I have been feeding her the bottle straight from fridge again have been told this is ok and she is taking it well.
Also sorry another question she was up last night from 9.30pm until finally settling properly at 5am... obviously this was very hardwork and I almost felt like quitting after a tearful night, is this normal?
xxReceived £2,626.00 in PPI -2013:j
