Harley if you have a classic Baby Bjorn there's a way to fold down the top part inwards for extra head support.

Ooh, just had a look and it seems the extra support is for forward facing, like somewhere to put her chin but further inspection has found two loops which will pull her in a bit, little diagram says for 8-11lb babies. Why does my friend never keep the instructions for anything. It took me ages to even figure out how to get in the damn thing.

Harley – yey for smaller jeans! :T And for boobie clubs. :T I keep meaning to ask, where did you get Kezia’s name from? One of my RL best friends has a Keziah, and i’ve always loved the name, but wouldn’t steal it from my friend (although Keziah is 14!) ps. She’s beautiful!

Thanks 3. It was my Great Great Aunts name. Iris and Mae were my grandmothers. Keziah with the 'h' is the cornish spelling as far as I know. Mum and dad found it months ago on their ancestry site thing and suggested it. I wrote it down and pretty much forgot about it. Then in hospital I was being nagged to give her a name and I went back through my list and it just jumped out at me.

The only person so far to hint that they didn't like it is my brother, but I think he's coming round to it now. Will only refer to her as tadpole though. I can see that sticking and we'll all be doing it.

  • Evening all.. I hope everyone is ok - will go back and catch up on the last few pages in a mo.

Not too bad here - Izzy is still a bit grumpy with her teeth, but loads better than she was - still had to resort to calpol before bed, but managed without during the day. She isn't eating very well, except for bananas, but at least I know we can succeed with those - she will turn into a banana at this rate ;)

My interview went well today (as far as I could tell). I answered everything well, I think I sold myself well, and I'm suited to the job. I just have to cross my fingers that the other people they interviewed weren't as fab as me! I should find out tomorrow.

Mine has two sets of fasteners for small heads and bigger ones. A friend of mine had the flap folded down on the inside though to make less space between the baby's head and the BB, I thought that was how you were supposed to do it

I didn't let go of her till she was about four weeks old :rotfl:

    Fingers crossed for you ladybird!

Do you find that bananas bung Izzy up a bit? I limit them to 1/2 a nana a day now (except today - cos it is an easy peasy snack to have whilst mummy is getting dressed after swimming)

Which reminds me :j:j:j Benjamin did treading water (with armbands on) and swimming towards mummy today - with no hands holding him!!! He still hasn't quite got the hang of trying to keep his head out of the water but I am hoping that by the end of the 8 lessons we will have something like a swimmer!!

  • We don't seem to have too much of a bananas bunging her up problem. Although she is having quite a lot of apple and blackberry with custard too (I use custard powder, and make it without any sugar) so maybe that is why?

And Yay for Swimming :) We've not been swimming for ages. I keep meaning to, but we've not got around to it. Maybe Friday.

I've only read back about 5 pages, so have missed half of all the stories, but it sounds like Feelie and AM need huggles :grouphug: and BM, I hope you get the answer you are hoping for. Which answer are you hoping for?
