Do we know what reference number Honeys friend was? Only very low numbers (under 10) on here so far have received confirmation of a cheque.
Honey said it was under 100. Didnt she also say deloitte contacted her friend in May 09 asking for the salesperson name. That is quite some time agodialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

It DOES say on one of the posts, the time it takes depends on how much information they have to hand and how much they have to get from Picture/target.
Our number is quite high just under 300 and yet from the email it appears to just need details of the lender we transferred loan to in order to complete the calculations
Still worried though!!!dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
I wouldnt be worried if I were you, if they want information in relation to calculations that can only be good.xx
I should think it takes longer to do calculations than tell someone you have no claim which is why I wondered what the persons reference was.DS1 12/10/04

I know I did send them a lot of info and also I had the detailed statement from Picture from the start of the loan up until Aug 08 - there would only be another 2 months repayments to add on to this, as we finished the loan early November. I assume this has helped with the calcs
I have just been reading over our claim form, you can't help worry you have left something out or maybe worded it wrong.
The claim form is quite detailed and I also added a continuation sheet
Hope we have some definate news tomorrow!!!
If they contacted Honey's friend in May for salespersons name, it has taken some time to tell them they were unsuccessful - I can't fully get my head around this case. I might be wrong but maybe the friend has not told Honey everything, through embarrasment or whatever other reason!!!. I have read through the posts again and if she did put on the claim about it being for only 5 years but paying for the term of loan, this has got to be a case of mis sell with that alone- i'm confused with this one.!!!!!!!!!
The FSCS would not make up the content of the phone call, it's more than they dare do and also they have no reason for doing so!!!!!!dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
Me to busbyh, the only reason I would have said no claim is if someone had already made a successful claim against the policy.
I was asked about our employment status (sure I had put that in!) so I am sure that has something to do with only one person being covered.DS1 12/10/04

May o9 is really a long time ago, I know the date my claim was passed to Deloitte was 3rd July and didnt hear from them before that.
Just seems something was flagged up at that time, but just guessing.DS1 12/10/04

Mine and hubbys is not going to be a great amount, because when we had the loan advance, there was quite a substantial amount rebated into the 2nd loan.
Marshallka worked mine out some time ago.
And the 2nd loan ppi was resolved with the FOS over a year ago, where they then said on the 2st loan to pursue through the broker, then the broker had not long went into liquidation when we tried.
But every penny counts.
They the broker completed in the application in over the form and ticked for PPI, this was sorted out over the telephone, yet when we received the form to sign through the post, we questioned about the PPI, did we have to take it, and they said it was all part of the loan, or we would not get a loan.
(of course we learnt more of the ppi mis selling later on).
Hubby has a back complaint from an accident prior to that and again we both had to sign, me not working but he was, although he just returned to work from being off with his back.
The annoying thing about this is that when we tried requesting for a SAR, it was too late, they could not provide one, and the telephone recordings would have come in handy as well, but do not have them for this loan, only the loan advance.
I think our recordings would have helped ours, yet the FOS did state when they resolved the 2nd loan advance ppi that they could not sort the 1st one as we had to pursue through the broker first, but they did not know then they went into liquidation, but clarified it was more or less mis sold as well.
Did also send a copy of the paperwork to FSCS.
Hope it will help our case, as we not much more to give them, to what we already given in what we did have. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Forgot to say in my above post, not knowing much about ppi etc back in 2005 and earlier, when we completed the FOS complaints form, we did originally complain about the 2 loans, as we thought then it was the lender for the first one as well.
Again prior to taking out that loan, every finance we did have with anyone, they always added ppi, credit cards with the bank as well. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
