O2 or BT?

Options
Although I have been using broadband for over 7 years, I'm still very new to this competive market.

At present I am with Virgin Media, however, due to issues with them, I have cancelled and now need a new provider.

I do have a BT phoneline, so I am wondering who offers the best broadband?

Do either BT or O2 work with Apple Macs? I do use a regular windows laptop, but I also own a Mac ibook.

That's a load of rubbish anyway, the ISPs that get the highest ratings tend to be quite a bit more expensive. Compare Zen to Tiscali for example. To get 50GB monthly download you have to pay £30 a month with ZEN even though it wins lots of awards.
  • As well as value, I'm looking for reliability.

BT Total broadband is very reliable and the wireless hub is free. We spent years with "cheap" providers but the service is very poor. With BT yes it is an Indian call centre but the will "remote access" your computer if you are having problems (only if you are running Windows). I would rather pay a bit more with BT than not get any support.

O2 is far superior to BT broadband in every single way assuming you live in an LLU enable area

    check on http://www.samknows.com/broadband/search.php

O2 also supply a free router, have excellent uk based support and can also connect directly to your router and change settings if needed

They have good pricing with discounts for o2 mobile customers
  • For the o2 cashback which website it best?
also can old 02 phone customers get the cashback when signing to the internet?
