    Have you actually gone round and looked at the wattage of all the items you listed, and worked out what it would cost if they were all left on versus the cost on timer plugs? If so can you post the results here please?

    surely educate people to not leave everything switched ON then?
    why not teach them to turn off the device, either on the item itself, or using the remote?

    how many people actually leave everything ON all the time?
    not on standby, but actually fully & completely ON?

    I think this is a great idea. As i work in B&Q I will get a pack for £8.00 so will be going for them tomorow I might even buy two packs and put them all over the house.
