Evans £5 code and free del code - got £6 gifts delivered for £1- not just clothing

I got two orders last week paid a pound each order. Then yesturday my bank card got stopped(wouldnt let me take money out so i rang the bank) i was told they had stopped card as evans had taken out another pound but they were putting it back in at the same time. Bank thought this was not right and stopped my card.
Any way i got card unblocked after being on hold for half an hour. I dont think i will be using evans again not worth the hassle.

my first order was cancelled as no stock and i had an email to say that they amount had been refunded back to my paypal. I placed a new order as they said they had more in and find that they have charged me twice , once for both orders. have emailed them.

got a new email saying

Dear Miss ***

I can confirm that you are able to replace your order online.
Your order was cancelled as the system allowed two promotional codes to be used in error, our promotions cannot be used in conjunction with one another. To ensure that your new order is not cancelled please ensure that you are only entering one promotional code on the checkout page.

it was because i used the free delivery and the £5 off voucher at the same time.

The key is to def spend a min of £5 after codes as i have just had pj's and a top come used both the codes and paid £5.
They have had more money out of me anyway beacuse of this as i went into store to see if they had the necklaces i missed out on on-line and they did so i bought 2 for presents.

This isn't necessarily true. I placed 3 orders. 2 involved me spending £1. 1 involved me spending £5.50. The £5.50 one was cancelled and I received all the emails like everyone else but the 2 x £1 orders arrived safely.

I think the problem with this is the using of both codes together! Or using the codes more than once, I placed 4 orders, all have been delivered now, then tried to place 3 further orders, all cancelled and the security email received! I telephoned Evans and was told I had already used the £5 code and it was only intended to be used once per customer and that you were only supposed use 1 promotional code per order!!!

I think if you place multiple orders with one shopping group in a short space of time they flag a security risk as this is often the pattern of somebody trying to commit card fraud.
I placed one Evans order with the codes and it was delivered and the following day I ordered something from Dorothy Perkins website and got the order cancelled for your own security email (Dotty P's are the same group as Evans)

Goes without saying they cottoned on eventually to the using multiple codes as so many people flooded the website to place small multiple orders using the codes - still it was good while it lasted and lots of people got bargains

i never got confirmation on any of my orders i did except for one when the bill was about £5, my one which was £3 didnt come through. Im hopingsomething might turn up in the post though, fingers crossed!
