  • I don't think the people who run that site know their !!!! from their elbow.
    I made only one order, first I got a confirmation, next day I got an email saying sorry but the items were out of stock and therefore the order was cancelled. Day after that I got one saying there was a problem with my promotional code and the order was cancelled because of that.
    Seriously, if you're gonna lie then at least do it right.

    They sent me yet another £5 off code and I used that this evening to order the same items (yep, the ones that they had told me originally were sold out).
    Let's see what happens now.

    Sounds to me like the manager has told the staff to sort it, and not told them how to. Looks like some of their team have overlapped in sending out the emails to you bearing different excuses!
  • I emailed customer services and mace valendran after my order was cancelled and got the same email as scottishlass.:rolleyes:

    However I later recieved an email from Jonathan, Arcadia Group CS

    Dear Mr/Ms Sir/Madam,

    Thank you for your email received 24 September 2009.

    I was sorry to note your comments and can understand the frustration you felt trying to place the order with us. Unfortunately, the problem comes from a different department. Our Systems teams are aware of the issue and are working hard to ensure this does not happen again.
    In the mean time, I will advise to call our Customer service on the number below, if you desire place a new order and one of our advisor will be happy to adjust your order manually.
    I trust this is now resolved, but please do not hesitate to reply to this email if there is anything further I can help with.

    I thought well my order is not going to go through now even if i phone them so decided to forget about it!!!

    I have just received an email saying order has been despached :eek: logged into account and order that was showing as cancelled is now showing as despached on there also!!!:eek:

    Fingers crossed that it really was a glitch with one of their departments and everyone gets their orders:j

    Didnt the £5 off code work out better than 20% off PJs?

    I would have thought that the 20% code would be better on orders over £25 only.

    More things been added to the sale. Lingerie section has more knickers & bras... :)

  • i have made alot of orders and all but 1 on my acccount are showing that they have been dispatched, only 1 was cancelled. so far after tracking my earlier orders on the hermes tracking website it shows that they have been received at the hub so at the moment everything seems to be going well. i also received an e-mail saying my order was cancelled it never said which 1 and i have ordered since and my goods have been dispatched so don't be put off ordering it's still worth a go :)
