Hi everyone, great to know I'm not the only 'cheap skate in the village' as my DS put it! As for the by-pass I was just a wee lass when I first remember them talking about it - that's only 20+ years ago - give them a chance!!!
So, as for location, as someone put it earlier, somewhere between Pontypridd and Llantrisant ;-)
Kaz xJanuary '06 Grocery Challenge (4th - 31st) £320.Week 1 - £73.99 Week 2 £5.10 (so far)
Someone burst my bubble and I lost the plot so no idea what I spent now...Other Jan :- Petrol £20.41, Clothes £8.50, House £3.I will try to work it out.

Backbiter wrote:We'd better - they're building on every spare bit of land, the new Welsh school in Church Village opens in a matter of weeks, and the A473 is just clogged with traffic. I remember reading that assembly money is committed to it but that it would only start after the school opens (big surprise - no way would they have actually coordinated two big projects like that to be ready at the same time).
One thing they've got to do is make the journey to the school safe for cyclists, in an attempt to reduce the numbers of cars on the school run, reduce air pollution etc. I'll believe that when I see it.

We must all be very close - how far away from the New Inn is anyone? I thought (hoped) the Welsh school wasn't opening until at least September - what fun that will be for the traffic - presumably the main road will now be solid all day.Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0 -

I'm not far from the new Inn, but luckily I rarely have call to use the main road, the other route is more convenient for me. You'll be able to identify me shortly as my MSE car sticker arrived today - so if you spot me, give me a toot!:wave:January '06 Grocery Challenge (4th - 31st) £320.Week 1 - £73.99 Week 2 £5.10 (so far)
