Hello Babyshambles, the part of Barry which I was referring to is the funfair especially the log flume with it's well dodgy paint and plastic birds from hypervalue. Otherwise, Barry is OK

I grew up in Gibbonsdown and survived ! which part are you from ?

hiya welsh-dragon, i would have to agree with you that the funfair does look bloody awful, and those plastic birds just make me wanna cry when i see them there that tacky, and i must congratulate you for growing up in gibbonsdown and you survived, you should get a medal or something for that :rotfl:

Hiya Dan29, YES, first we were civil servants working in the Welsh office in Cathays Park under the name of Exports Credit Guarantee Dept (ECGD),

Then we became privatised and became NCM having been taken over by a Dutch company. Then we became Gerling NCM as we were taken over by the Swiss/Germans.

Then we became Atradius and back to being a Dutch company. The name Atradius was created because A is the first letter of the alphabet, so first in a listing of insurance companies, "trad" because people trade and "ius" as in radius over all the world. At this point I do apologise as everyone will have fallen asleep. :rolleyes:
