Weeds and grass growing in plant pot

Anyone know how I can get rid of the weeds and grass that is growing in my plant pots? There are plants in them but weeds too. I tried pulling it out, but it just breaks off

I have had this problem to, I had a weed growing right in the middle of my lavender plant. In the end I had to almost split the plant down the middle into 2 which revealed the root of the weed and I got it out that way.

I have been covering the exposed soil with pebbles which seems to reduce the amount of weeds that come through and looks nice at the same time!! Hope this helps!!

You could sell it on Ebay, not sure of the going rate for grass and pot.
