  • So far I've found no faults and its working perfectly - upgrading the Rom at this moment - but even without the Rom upgrade the phone is very responsive with only a 2gig MicroSD (which came with the phone) (Not sure what class).

    Soon I'll upgrade to a class 6 16gb MicroSD :rotfl::rotfl:

    Going to cancel the insurance / other add on tomorrow afternoon too and check my bank account often :rolleyes:

    @Nobby.

    The phone is overall very very nice. Loads of functions (As expected from the Android phone), very responsive and the multitasking is brilliant (Browsing internet - playing music in the background etc).

    I've turned my data usage off - and I'm just using WiFi at home atm, everything is loading smoothly and youtube works perfectly too.

    You should check out the reviews from sites such as CNET etc to get a better perspective. I went through about 10 reviews and 5 video reviews before I decided that this phone was the one I wanted, and I'm not disappointed at all!

    HTC Hero. 9/10 so far ! The camera 5mp with autofocus isn't too bad, but it lacks a flash so its useless in the dark, but overall its okay - at least its much better than the iPhones :rolleyes:
  • Upgraded to the latest firmware without a problem - VERY fast now, but I haven't installed many applications yet which can hinder the speed - even with music in the background there is only a very very very slight delay in switching screens etc.

    Got a letter from Gadgethelpline which is one of their addons, and rang promptly to cancel it - they assured me that I will receive the confirmation of the cancellation through the post very soon :T

    So far so good :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
