    nights x
  • Hi Missymoo81, you look like you have been doing really well, with regards to hair products etc I personally find wilko's the best, I went into tesco recently for shampoo and conditioner and picked some up for £2 odd per bottle, thought this was steep so put it back on the shelf, then went into wilkos and the same shampoo and conditioner cost 97p per bottle :D

Also Savers are pretty good, although the one near me as closed now X

  • Hi Missy.

Its been ages since I posted on your diary so thought I'd stop by! I'm feeling much more MSE now and am back on form!

Well done on cancelling your gym membership. There's lots of things you can do at home or out in the open that will keep you fit, so I think that was a good move! :)

Glad to hear you have the MSE bug! I too am a big one for running round turning lights and plugs off aswell! I try to do it discretly though, so not to get on DF's nerves! :)

Your meal plans sound very healthy and MSE concious. Maybe next time you're craving fish and chips, you could have some ''emergency'' supplies in the freezer. Some supermarket bought fish and some oven chips. This won't taste quite the same but may hit the spot and is bound to be a lot
cheaper?! Just a suggestion I thought you could give a pop.

You're welcome on the shopping list tip. :) It worked a treat for me this week. I think re the toiletries asda or wilkos may be a good bet.

Sorry to hear your boss is still being a pain! :(
Don't know what to suggest there except keep your head down as much as possible! :)

I too loooovveee cinema nights. The fleecey blankie is not sad. We're just the same. Hehe.

Well keep up all the good work!! You're doing really really great.
And here's some motivation for your meal planning.... :j:j:j:j

awww thank you for the lovely message september, and the motivation must have worked as although i was dying for some chocolate earlier, I didn't buy any!!! Which is a huge result for me, so since last saturday I haven't spend any money on food..... which is unheard of!!! Think i might have to eat some chocolate through shock lol.

At last it is finally the weekend, it has really been a long time coming this week!!!.

Have lots of mse things planned for tomorrow. Really must get round to making that bread!!!!!

    speak soon

    still here!!!

ooh i meant to say thank you for the advice moneytroubles, am going to wilko tomorrow. armed only with the £ coins in my purse, think i have about a tenner.

I'm going to meet my mum, who said she would buy lunch and I'm going to park in the free car park, and I am not going to go into matalan and buy stuff!!!

The only things I am allowed to buy are: hair dye and some onion starters that they have in ready for my veg growing next year.... i can't think of anything else I need!!! what did i used to spend money on before, I can't think.... rubbish probably.

Now I said I would do my meal plan tonight but I haven't.... so naughty...

    Hey Missy
I also own a fleece blanket! You've made a great start to being a DFW- have just realised we post on some of the same challenges (PAD- although I haven't done much this month as I've been making weekly payments when I know I can spare the money and I think the 100 day challenge too

i haven't actually joined the challenges yet, will definitely do it this evening, I think what you have in your signature for your 100 day challenge is exactly what mine should be!!! all of those things are my downfalls.

thanks for coming over and visiting, sometimes it feels like you are just rambling on to yourself doesn't it. mind you it does help to write things down, no matter whether anyones reading or not.

ok have found some motivation.... need to go to tesco tomorrow to buy:

sausages as on major special offer and can do bits and pieces with them (sausage rolls, toad in the whole, sausage and mash erm... any ideas would be much appreciated, although I absolutely hate sausage casserole!!! _pale_
food bags (tesco value) for freezing stuff and for taking packed lunches ;)
wholemeal flour for bread for lunches
lentils for pate for sandwich filling
    porridge oats for breakkie
    carrots for soup
    parsnips for soup
    butter for cookies

that's just for me not including the sausages... really should think about buying some batch cooking stuff..... hmm will have another think and go on my supermarket
