thank you for the advice beat the debt and good advice it is, I've given myself £135 a month as spends, which I know is a lot, but it's more my short fall fund incase anything comes up. and if it doesn't half will go on me thing and half will go to my debt.0

ok really haven't done anything towards paying off my debt, just going to have a look on my on line banking and see if there is anything i can move into my debt account.
Although I have had some things come of today, I had lunch paid for me which was nice. I have managed to get my wedding shoes for a total of £7 on ebay and they were just what I was after. And I've worked out that I haven't spent any money at all since saturday!!! Now I will have to have a spend day tomorrow as i need petrol but it is budgeted for. And I already have a can of soup at work for my lunch so I'm slowly getting organised.
Still need to look on Mizuma, but might save that until the weekend, along with the baking bread etc... motivation seems to be what I'm lacking in... ho hum...0 -
ok have just moved over £3.02, so with yesterdays and the £1 odd that was already in there, I have so far got an extra £8.38 to pay off my debts...... hmmm think it may take some time if that is all I'm coming up with. But every little helps as I keep saying (too many tesco adverts!!!! lol)0

I think this weekend will be spent sorting a plan of action. I know more or less what I'm doing money wise, I think. But I also need to get my life in order to save the money and pay off my debts.
Like for instance, sorting the garden so that I can plant some veggies in the spring. Making a meal plan and sticking it to the freezer, therefore shopping (only armed with a list, stole the idea from september, thanks hun) then batch cooking and filling the freezer. Need to sort the cupboards to see what I already have.
hmmm I need to buy some of plastic freezing tubs, think they do 4 for a pound in poundland... then i can freeze them in that shape and then put them into bags in the freezer. (see I've learnt something from those lovely people on the old style thread) I'm sure I can find a pound in my copper jar... or if not down the side of the sofa..... oooooh or OH's trouser pockets
Sounds like my weekend is going to be rather busy. Is it sad that I am so excited about my adventure into DFW land? I think it's just the realisation that in a year I could finally be debt free! :j
That's enough of a thought to make me never want to spend my hard earned cash on fish and chips again!!!!0 -
good morning, i'm sure it's far too early to be up!! Well we'll see what MS things I can do today, and I will update later.
I can't believe how tired I am, this debt free stuff is hard work!!! Bring on the weekend!!0 -
wooo hooo I had another NS day (will get petrol tomorrow) which means all week I have refrained from buying chocolate, sweets, lunch or magazines.... or clothes for that matter which is exceptionally good for me. Think I have finally got my head around this, if you spend money you haven't got then you get debt!!!!
Work is still really crap, why are bosses so evil, deliberately!!!
Have no motivation to do any meal planning etc... but I did finally drop off my letter to cancel my gym membership, which is definitely a step in the right direction.0 -
right have also set myelf a target. I would like to have my debt paid off in full by the end of september 2010. So I've got to find £4000 in that time. hmmmm it doesnt look that hard until you realise that its nearly £400 a month to find, well ish... my maths is rubbish!!! But I'm determined to do it. I need to if I want to be debt free for when we have babies.
hmmm the other dilema i have is I don't know where the cheapest and best place is to buy stuff like hair dye and ladies products etc.... am i better off going to tesco or somewhere llike aldi or even wilko??? Answers on a postcard.....0
