Thank you hun!!! Feel so super excited about it, have never done anything like that, I stopped my education at GCSE's!!!! So it will be a lot of hard work!!! But I think I can do it, it will get me to where I want to be in a few years time, primary school teacher here I come!!!! Can't stop smiling, think I might go and pour myself a glass of lambrini (left over from last night, low alcohol as on duty) to celebrate!!!!

Hi Missy so will you get a degree in teaching is it? Or PGCE you got me curious now.0
-
I am going to have a degree in english language and literature, then go on to do my ITT, I'm giving myself about 5-6 years to do it so I should have had kiddies in that time and they should be heading to school age so then I can start teaching and the littlies will be going to school, so I will roughly work school hours, thats my plan anyway.

I'm only looking to go into primary teaching not secondary, so that degree should suffice I think. Do you know much about it BTD?0
-
Not really all i know is that if you already have a degree you do a pgce but if not you need a degree in the subject you want to teach , like i said i only know a little bit as i have friends who teach they all had degrees anyway. Your plan sounds good though very realistic. Go for it!xx0

Great plan Missy. After a degree you usually do a one year PGCE and then start teaching. There are schemes where you can also do the training year while at a specific school as well.
Congratulations on getting the ball rolling2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
