Right, I hope you dont mind me copying your idea Katy83, but here is my list of wants, these are things that I want now or in the near future, and I want to see how far these things are out of my reach.....
ok here goes
A fully paid off car
No debts
No overdraft
No huge commute to work
A lovely vegetable patch in the garden
To be a stone thinner
To have long nails that I dont bite
To be tanned
To have savings that are for a rainy day not specifically earmarked for something
To have a degree
To have a job I love
thats it for starters.....:rolleyes:0 -
I have run out of wine!!!!! Not getting any though until next sat! Missy hold me to that!:A (not that i was going to drink this time of day)
Love your list i have a list! I also try to go new places so if i am going to go for a meal out i will go to the ones that i have never been before!!
Good luck with your list anything is possible if you want it enough!!xx;)0 -
Hmmm have looked at my list and too be honest these are things that arent too far out of reach.... things that with a bit of hard work I can sort out, and some I'm in the process of sorting
A fully paid off car (am going to start paying this in March will hopefully have it paid off by the end of 2010)
No debts(obviously working on this one but should be paid by Jul 2010)
No overdraft (have been out of this for 2 months now and haven't gone back in, its just keeping it that way)
No huge commute to work (cant do anything about this for now not until the year after next atleast but it is on the back burner and is a work in progress)
A lovely vegetable patch in the garden (havent started this, the garden is big enough and I just need to get my backside in gear when OH is home to lend a hand.... think seeing it on my wants list is a definite kick up the backside!!)
To be a stone thinner (is definitely doable, just need to get motivated, silly really that it should seem so out of reach when it really isnt, monday here I come)
To have long nails that I dont bite (really need to stop biting them I know this, but I have some false nails to put on tonight so I wont be able to bite them)
To be tanned, which in turn gives me confidence (so easily rectified just need to start using the sunbed occassionally, even have some pre paid but just havent got round for using them!!!!)
To have savings that are for a rainy day not specifically earmarked for something (this I'm not sure will ever happen as I am trying to pay everything off asap, but I can wish!!)
To have a degree (starting this hopefully in Feb)
To have a job I love (This wont happen for quite some time, hence why starting a degree want to be a teacher)
To be fitter (this needs to be with the losing weight really, need to stop being so lazy!!)
So If I look at it.... I'm atleast half way there :T That has made me feel so much happier, I am rather content with my lot... I just forget it sometimes.... and £200 dresses are only going to bring temporary happiness.
Feel so much more motivated now, now I know where I'm going:T:j:D

Thought! The veggie patch will save you money as you can eat and sell your veg, keep you fit help ypu lose weight (gardening is hard work) so i am told:D and if you keep it up all summer you will get a tan and you wont be out spending money!!:rotfl:x0

such a good thought BTD, I think the veg patch is my top priority, might have to pop over to the greenfingered thread to see how I would go about it, unless anyone here knows?
oooh its so exciting!!! this mse stuff can actually be fun sometimes!!

Fab post Missy! :A Sometimes I think we all forget what we already have, and how a few small changes could bring us so much more of our 'wish list'Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0

Thanks hun. sometimes I think I just need a reality check, I have so much, and I shouldnt compare what I have to other people, they probably dont have some of the things that I have, and I'm probably happier!! lol, if I do say so myself!!
I just need to tweek a few things here and there and I'll be happy as a pig in clover x0
