  • Hi Missy,

Hope the sunburn and your bum feels better soon x x

Sounds like you had a productive half hour. This weekend my OH is working so i have lots planned - am going to make some soup to freeze (will try and shop for the veg reduced in cost), i'm planning on taking my OH to work and then going straight to the gym as i have no excuse then as am already out and about.

I've got loads of things to ebay and have worked out could prob get about £100 for the old mobiles i have so am going to sort them out, find the boxes and all the wires.

Want to do all the ironing so then won't need to do any for a week or two.

Plus with OH out the house can spend lots of time on here.
  • Hi Missymoo,
Hope youre ok and that your exercises are going well too. I've recently fixed my bike so will try to cycle a little bit, both for exercise and instead of using the car for short journeys.

Also posting two Ebay items tomorrow. Probably only make about £20.00 in total after postage but £20.00 helps pay some bill or buy groceries.

OH has another job interview on Thursday - basically more cash, better hours and less travelling than the job she hasn't even started yet! Will update own DFw Diary at weekend

    :hello:

Will keep my fingers crossed for your OH and hope it goes well.
  • I know how you feel about bum! I went to centre parks where we had to cycle to get anywhere and my bum really hurt!
Well done on the soup good girl!:D

On the plus side to the sore bum - think of the good it will do your diet you'll be well on the way to that 3lbs!! :)

Oooh and congrats on the shiney sparkly star!! We need to work towards 3 now! How cool are we? Hehe. :D

    Xmas Saver!
Add me to the weight loss challenge, I'm aiming for 1 stone by xmas, bit of a cop out, but due to mobility etc (some prize pillock fancied the rear of me car whilst I was driving! - he walked away, I ended up on crutches) - not allowed to use gym - just swimming, but got 1st OU exam 21 days - no exercise unless its turning a page! x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

hi all, thank you for all the lovely messages. My bum is still rather sore!! Sittiing down at work was a nightmare lol. And I can see the funny side of my tangoed features,:rotfl: fortunately, thank goodness OH is away I never would have lived it down!!!

Well update on debt busting and weight loss. I have been really good foodwise today, only eating homemade stuff today didn't get to the gym due to more sore behind, but was a bit naughty and jumped on the scales this morning and have lost a pound so far, so only two more to go!!!:T

Debt wise well I haven't had chance to claim back my expenses yet, but I have been paid today and I'm not going to draw any money out if I can possibly help it until saturday when I should only spend a tenner anyway as I'm meeting my friend for lunch.

My sister is coming round on friday, and she wanted to go for a chinese, now the old missy would have been quite happy to do that, but the new frugal missy oh no... I've told her I'm going to cook chillie, which is quick and easy and I have the ingredients in the cupboard, so no spends there!!!

I really can't get over how busy this week has been, I just don't seem to have stopped, it's crazy!!! But atleast I'm getting a lot done.... and I'm finally going to look at my meal plan tonight, I'll post it on here, then I'll work out a shopping list.

    Speak soon

omg just went down stairs to get my rocky, just couldn't resist (and I've checked the back of the packet and it doesn't even list the calories so it can't have any in...... hmm hmm hmm....:o) Anyway I just managed to trip the lights!!!!:eek:I hate the dark then had to find my way into the spidery garage and switch them back on, had to stand on all sorts to reach it!!! Not good, think I've blown three bulbs too, and they're those halogenny type ones, so that's going to cost some to replace them!!

Anyway whilst in the garage I thought I migh as well do a freezer inventory, to see what I do or don't need to buy and currently I have:
    4 packs of mince
    7 chicken breasts
    3 pork chops
    big bag of peas
    big bag of chips
    pot of cream
    and 2 blocks of cheese,

then decided to do the fridge

    I have 2.5 onions
    1/2 block cheese
    1 cooking apple
    1 lime
    1 lemon
    lots of garlic

    cupboard

    12 tins of tuna
    rice
    3 fajita kits
    tinned tomatoes
    1 tin of beans
    1 tin of kidney beans
    pasta
loads of flour and various spices

so all in all I've got quite a lot to be getting on with, going to have a look in my recipe books and see what I can make with it all... yum yum and whatelse I need to get to fill up the freezer with yummy home cooked meals.
