You looked in TK Maxx recently? They have had Emus in by the shelf load the past few weeks

    Yo Suki!

Long time since we 'chatted'! Have absolutely no idea if their is a TK Maxx near me - I shop online if poss.... I'm not necessarily after Emu's - but am more concerned with the tucking in of jeans problem, straights are no good with my current Emus and so called skinny ones are not really for my age..... They are never wide enough on the thighs... :o

I'm loving the look of the Mukluks - but you can't tell by a picture what they are really like and, can you get your straight legs in them...

    Are TK Maxx online?

I just bought a pair and was amazed at how lightweight they are :j. Having bought them at the end of summer I'll have to wait until next year to really form an opinionl

I'm also a big fan of MBT's,which also tone legs and bum ;). I bought a pair and lived in them for over four years and they're still showing no sign of wear. They are expensive, but I bought a second pair from Amazon Marketplace for nearly half the price! The soles are so thick that I never feel the cold striking up through them in the winter :T. I've got spinal injuries and arthritis and do feel shoes with this sort of footbed help a lot.

MBT's?? What boots did you buy?? I'm loving the warmth and comfort ideas - I need both for winter at work. I wear a top which is uniform with jeans - as they are practical for when in and out of workshop. But alot of my day I am sat at desk in office - with cold draught..... I also need to be able to tuck straight leg jeans in boots etc - so need easy access!!

TK Maxx only sell handbags online

Tk is the sort of shop you need to go visit weekly. The past few weeks they have been getting boots in with loads of the sheepskin type. I noticed the emus as they were getting so many and they are very heavily discounted - around a third of the RRP (if those prices are to be believed)

My best bargain boots I got two years ago, pair of Lulu Guinness ankle boots, reduced from £350 to £50 - not very practical but so damm gorgeous:D

Hi Genie, haven't seen you in a while ;). Sorry I didn't buy the boots - I got the trainers, but here's a link you might find helpful as they are so cheap! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Athletic-Outdoor-Shoes-Footwear/s/sr=41-31/qid=1254486921/ref=sr_in_-2_p_4_30?ie=UTF8&rs=362354011&bbn=362354011&rh=n%3A355005011%2Cn%3A362352011%2Cn%3A362354011%2Cp_n_target_audience_browse-bin%3A363840011%2Cp_4%3AMBT&page=1

This particular stockist on Amazon marketplace also has FitFlops for sale too!

    I hope it helps someone.

    Hi
I've been to TK Max today and brought a pair of ripcurl type UGGS (if that makes sense! :o

They are fur lined and suede and have a drawsting top so you could tuck for jeans in.

I thought of you when buying them! :rotfl:

I've worn Fitflops for about the last year and can state, hand on heart, that they've made absolutely no difference whatsoever to the tone of my legs however they have solved another issue. I have Planar Fasciitis which is a foot condition where the underside of your heel is very sore when you first walk after sleeping or sitting down for any length of time. Fitflops are very cushioned and perfect for that condition - I've walked for 3 hours solid in the summer with mine on.

Also brilliant for my foot condition has been MBT trainers. I have two pairs and they are incredably comfortable. Now with MBTs I do feel my calf muscles working harder than in other shoes.
