I have a theory about friends. I've noticed a lot of us on here are having problems with them, and I think it's because we're changing and growing up. A lot of people on here have lost weight, got more active, dealt with debts, and been really proactive in various aspects of their lives, and suddenly find that friends/partners/family are being !!!!!!. Maybe it's because by changing our lives they feel they need to change theirs, or maybe they liked us being doormats because it made them feel good about themselves. Whatever the reason, they're the one with the problems not us, if they can't accept the new usses (couldn't think of a better/real word!) then surely they're not real friends anyway, they should be glad for us.

That's my two pennorth worth anyway!

Things are sorted, I might have over-reacted to a slightly insensitive comment. :o

I'm so glad. I would be much more heartbroken over losing my best friend than any stupid twunty man.

You're not skint though, you're living within your means. Is she? Or is she living on credit? If so, then she's the skint one not you, and she's no right to criticise you. Friends shouldn't be bothered about money anyway. Did she maybe keep sponging off you and now has a problem with that line drying up for her?

Sorry I got the wrong end of the stick, there's not many people like that around, especially at the moment!

Mmm I'm sitting down with some wine. I got a wineglass at asda tonight, it didn't seem right last night drinking it out of a pint glass... it wasn't a full glass, so it's probably only the same amount as tonight, but it does seem more 'proper' in a wine glass!
