there's always better ones out there, it's finding them that's the problem...

No? sadly not. going to shred at 10.

I mean the cheesy Puffs....Sure Jillian would be saying drop down and give me 20 for those ;):D
Like you say though, you need to be able to enjoy these things, cutting them out might lead to full on cheesy puff fest!
Impressed you are about to do shred at this time of night..I would be half asleep then having restless legs all night!

I wonder how big Brian is now

That's quite alright - I have quite an inactive bum myelf at times so every little bit helps. All this running talk has got me jealous, I'm recuparating from torn ankle ligaments at the moment

I would definitely advocate run/walk as a good way to build up to it - I made 9miles non-stop on my last run before hurting myself and was supposed to be doing the great north run yesterday

Ouch - do you play tennis or football at all? Its a very common injury in those sports - much less common from running though - poor you!

How many weeks left of inactivity??

Snags how old was Ryan when he got his Nintendo DS? Does Natasha play with it?

Ryan hasn't had his all that long - he got it last Xmas I think, so he was 8. He had been pestering for one for a couple of years before that.

Natasha does pinch it all the time; she can't really do any of the games properly, but she likes copying what he does.

I've been wondering about getting her one of those Leapster or VTech VSmile Cyber Pocket things, as a compromise, but she will have to wait till Xmas.

Well, about 6 so far...been trying to do a bit of cycling and swimming though so I don't turn into a big lard-bum. Tried to go to body pump class on Saturday and my muscles are still aching!

I think I will stick my ground for a bit longer. I am amazed at how many kids have them. I just want Bea to do more active things and she is the sort of child that given the chance would sit and play it all day every day! Maybe 5th or 6th Birthday :T
