Evening! Well done to the exercisers!
Hugs to Beanie.
I've just been to Asda with ex, the old stylers are going to kill me. I was supposed to be eating out of my freezer/cupboards for at least a month, but I've bought whoopsies. A couple of asda curry ready meals for the freezer, some veg, sandwich filling, eggs, and two salmon fillets. I didn't do too badly though, for me I was quite restrained.
They overcharged on some of the whoopsies - £1 instead of 50p mainly. So we went to customer services and got £3.74 refunded, and because of the mix up they gave us a £2 voucher! Ex really is the Jedi knight of whoopsie finding...Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
That's quite alright - I have quite an inactive bum myelf at times so every little bit helps. All this running talk has got me jealous, I'm recuparating from torn ankle ligaments at the moment
I would definitely advocate run/walk as a good way to build up to it - I made 9miles non-stop on my last run before hurting myself and was supposed to be doing the great north run yesterday
Aww I hope your ankle is soon better. How long till you can run again?
I'll definitely give it a go. I'd love to be able to run 9 miles, but to be honest, I think aiming to do a half marathon at my age and fitness level might be a tad ambitious
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Phew. Just finished cleaning vomit off the floor and myself. The wee man had covered me so badly I went into the shower to clean my t shirt before I could face taking it off:eek:
He seems to be okay now but he's never been sick really so phoned NHS and waiting for them to get back to me.
Hugs Scaredy
Take it easy Spudlicious - slow and steady and you are NOT too old - people start running at all ages so don't make excuses before you start. Just go out and do it. Poor old Nathan Luc, I expect he's just picked up a bug but babies soon bounce back. I can remember the first time Bea got a sickness bug and we were in the car going to the outlaws..grrrr I won't go into details!
Just keep giving him water and if he can't keep that down then try giving him some diorolyte (sp)I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
