Well, my HHC, segued into finishing the jam :j The kitchen is now a bombsite again, so thought I'd make apple braids, quiche for tea (who wants casselole on a lovely day like thisand I'll use some summer veg from the garden
) and some brownies for the children to take to camp :T
Off to update my list ..............

Pen you live a life I aspire to!
I need to make my jam but not sure how - I cooked some plums (with sugar) have added some frozen strawberries (raw) and now have a goooooop. How do I turn this into jam, how much sugar will I need?
Got some good bargins at the garden centre, I now have the need to go outside for an hour. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Apart from my life being in The North :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Try this thread for plum jam. Have you made jam before? If not try Delia's site for basic 10-step jam programme

rosepink1984 wrote: »The above post sounds very selfish - it was actually quite a shock for Mum to tell me that she suddenly couldn't walk last night and I think that's why I'm having trouble processing the new plans for Saturday. She thinks it will happen again which is why she's taking her wheelchair. Sorry for moaning about such trivial things in the above post - they really aren't important compared to what Mum and LL and Toots and Pigpen and Rach and Zoe are going through
Rose don't be so hard on yourself....it's a big deal to you...so process it in your mind & then you can enjoy your holiday......I posted your package this morning, so hopefully you will get it before you go xxCraftyscholar wrote: »
Just remember that all available flyladies will be on duty tomorrow - watching your back, holding your hand and surrounding you with positive vibes.

Afternoon all,
Quillion i'll keep my fingers crossed for you, Good luck.
Well done Mudbath you'll have all 5 stars tomorrow the way you're going.
I cycled to pick Ds2 up from nursery. It took 15 mins there and 30 mins back. :rolleyes:The difference it made having him on the back was incredible:eek:.
I've got another interview next week, i have to spend just over an hour with a group of yr5 & 6 doing an activity then the interview is a couple of days later. I'd rather it this way as i'm much better at doing it than talking about it IYSWIM. I've only ever worked with younger children as well so that'll be challenging.
Since i got back we've had lunch and i've washed up the dishes from that. I'm going to do a HHI before i have to pick up the biys from school.
