  • Afternoon all. I can't believe some of you have already finished your lists:eek:. I haven't even started yet. DS1 has brought home the work he missed when he had a hospital appointment last week, so I am going to have to help him with that before I get stuck in.

Haven't decided waht to make for dinner yet either. (note to self - get meal plan in order so we don't end up having beans on toast every night:rotfl::rotfl:)

Just gonna have a big cup of tea and a bounty bar, then I promise I will get my rear in gear

Gosh I'd forgotten how busy uni/town get on freshers week. Took me twice as long to get to town. And once i got to uni, I found out that the woman I need to talk to doesn't work on Mondays. And the list that we were told would be up won't be up til tomorrow. At least I only live 10 minutes away.

Manic Monday ~ Kitchen & Dining Room
    Level One
    Sweep and mop floors
    Level Two
Defrost and clean out the freezer - it's full so will do 2 cupboards instead if that's okay?
    Level Three
    Clean out the fridge

    Plus
Book blood app so I can't wimp out at the last minute - need to find out when boyf can go so this will have to be tomorrow.

I've got about half an hour before he gets home, so I'm going to get the last 3 bits of my list done before that

AW AnWs Mum, thats such a shame.....I do that every week though. My DR is a disaster area-come-dumping ground-come-paperwprk explosion.

Once I removed the dumped stuff, I can clean it - but the paperwork just seems to keep getting shifted around for cleaning purposes - but I forget I cant claim a star just for the kitchen!!!

But soon, I keep reminding myself, Soon!! I did HHC in the dining room this week and started on the paperwork.....babysteps babysteps!

Ok - am off home now to tackle my freezers and kitchen xx

Chicken drumsticks in the oven for DD's dinner with some cous-cous, fillets also in for tomorrows lunch box fajitas. OH is having steak so can't do that till I know what time he's home. I have had some cous-cous and may have a stir fry a little later on if I am hungry.....a couple of dailes then completed.
Hope you are all well, just skim reading as like a couple have already said.....too much time on the computer and not enough cleaning xx
  • Right, I've really cracked on now.

Dinner's done (big bolognaise made with mince, and carrots and lentils to bump it out )
All the washing is sorted and ready for dispatching to it's various homes (huge task!)
Curtain pole is completely finished now, it's going to look great. :D I'm loving spray paint.

I still need to do the DW which I'll do now...
