    How long did that take to scrub the oven clean!?

    The shelves soaking in the bath in bio wash powder worked well with a scrub with cheapo soap filled wire pads. Had to scrub the oven with a lot of elbow grease and then warm it up for 5 mins to remove the paste which worked well. Fan scrubbed clean, leaving the element for now as looks a bit delicate on inspection. The oven is gleaming more than ever before and there was me thinking it didn't need doing before!

    Can't face doing the freezer today,:confused:HRH or Toots can I swop it for cleaning the larder cupboard inside and out? :confused:

    5 pull out shelves all full, plus stuff on the top of the cupboard. Needs a good degrease and clear out, not an easy task at all!

    I am obviously not meant to complete my own daily list as neither of the workmen are answering their phones today, I guess it is good that they are busy. Will try again later.

    I need to

    Clean up from lunch
    Tidy the living room
    Put my ironing away

    Hayyyyyyy-eeelp!

    I've a new (ish, hence not done this before) double-oven built-in whatchamacallit.

    managed to figure out how to clean the bottom oven, with detergent & water and put on the clean thingamy selection. BUT - don't know how to clean top oven grilly bit and light. am a bit scared to do it with scrubby sponge thing case of breaking it. Do you reckon a paste of bicarb and water might do it?

    Cheers

    Well DH and I just made the fatal mistake of going out for lunch all by ourselves, and very nice it was too :love:.

    DH is hard at work again but I have a chronic case of CBA. I have to make an urgent work phone call and then leave to collect the boys in half an hour. Must shift the wet towels to the TD.

    Defrost the freezer? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
