Tootles - sorry, I hadn't seen that your nephew was poorly. Massive hugs to you all and get well vibes to him.

Dusty - DS still can't wee without a lot of pain but is no longer getting the severe pain that he's had. I'm hoping it's getting better but have no idea why is still hurts when he wees unless he has a stone stuck somewhere. Ouch!!!!

My dad's op seems to have gone well. Oil and cataract removed. This morning he gave me his car. I think it's easier for him to give it me than to sell it as that's so final. I'll keep it a few months whilst DS is poorly as it's certainly helpful to get to hospital appointments etc and then probably sell it for him in the new year.

Flying - i've been to the tip and mowed the lawn.

    Hugs to all xx

    :T everyone.
Well I have not even really lurked on this thread this week, let alone posted.
    Oh well never mind!
I have been keeping on top of things though, and doing lots of knitting/cooking/playing!
I fear next week will be similar where posting is concerned, its hard to keep up with the thread, but will try to nip in a few times.
Hope all are ok and hugs/kicks to anyone who wants one.

  • Just popping in to say i am around still and flying as best as i can, but the home PC has died so that means any internet access has to be on DH's work laptop so severely reduced time for me. I'm hoping it is repairable and i am not out of the loop for too long.

Toots can i have a kitchen star pretty please. I have been a good girl in that room and done 3 HHC today to get the kitchen/dining room more sparkling for my friend visiting this week. She is coming thursday and staying for a few days.

Anyway, few other online bits to do before i need to make some food for us all.

    Hugs everyone xxx

Dusty - I dont have a landing. When i did, it was the bane of my life to keep it clear. However, all the rubbish seems to gravitate to my LR. I guess the clutter always finds a house :(

Dusty - the main top of the stairs landing is currently home to an over-flowing bin, the new bath, the new sink (both wating to be fitted), the scabby old bathroom mirror (can't carry down by myself), and three bits of lego.

The last load of washing is on then I can start on the ironing. Thrillsvilles.

  • Can I join the wii fitters purlease. My OH got me Wii fit for my Bday back in may (I asked for it, rather than him thinking by heck she needs to get in shape:rotfl:) Anyhoo. I started off well but it has been gathering dust lately.
I am not to worried about losing weight but I do need to get fitter and more co-ordinated.

I have to do 'Freddie Fit' with a class of year three kids and they find my total lack of co-ordination highly amusing!!

I need to get stuck into some flying this aft. Met my mum and sis at the park with the kids this morning then we went to the garden centre for lunch, so aprt from catching up on this thread I haven't achieved a great deal of flying.

    Kitchen
    Sweep and mop floors
    Wipe worksurfaces
Wipe fronts of units and large appliances
    Wipe the hob

    Bathroom
    S&S

    Bedroom

Tidy away and shoes or books that are strewn about

    Living room, hall and stairs
    Vacuum/mop floor
    Dust and deweb
Wipe all the paintwork in the hall and stairs
    Wipe the sofas
    Check smoke alarms.

    Childrens room
    Level One
    Declutter floor
    Vacuum floor
    Rehome/bin 5 items
Dust, deweb and wipe away sticky grots

Sort out uniforms, lunchboxes, kit bags for tomorrow

  • Dusty... I hate my landing soooo much! It's currently got:
    A sewing machine
A bookshelf with "gibble" on it!
A huge pile of LPs that is about to double in size as all the LPs from the DR are going upstairs. (eventually the records will go into the loft... which needs boarding first  )

However... I have been working on it, a bit at a time, and I've cleared loads of carp from there. It's much better, and will get better when the loft gets done.
