    Evening all,

Looks like i missed out on the strictly & wine earlier (ironing was done this afternoon during GP qualifying) think iw ould have preferred your choice of viewing - we watched a dvd - boy in the stripped pyjamas - and I am a tad awake and not very settled after watching it.

zoe - well done for yesterday havent had a full read through of the thread but hope you have had a good day today and havent been too drained

valli - happy birthday seems like you have had a good day

pigpen - hope your poorlies are feeling better and that you are still avoiding their bugs

flying wise - finally cleared the floordrobe and have had 6 loads of washing on today, bedroom looking much better and Ican at least hold the head up when it appears on the list, have ironed some of it but the rest will be tomorrow afternoons job.

re the wii fit people - can i join in please weighed myself this morning and even being through 2 pregnancies I am the heaviest I have ever been thought I had been putting on some weight over the summer but hadnt realised quite how much so its a HHE for me every day, less alcohol and more walking etc from today onwards.

Heading to bed so will catch up properly in the morning.

    oops

    I read that as

    I would like another hubby

BUT I DID double check LOL

PS I so AM on the 'pop'

I am noe going to take The Ciommitments out and see what else is on

clearly the shut down DID help

    tomorrow
I MUST gather the 'birthday' cheques in and make sure I know what/to whom they must be assigned.

And SOMEONE will have to have words with DS in regards to gift giving.

    Wrapping would be a start

because HIS birthday is the day before mine he usually relies on getting money for his so he can get me soemthing.

TBH I would rather he didn't buy anything at all than grab cash and get whatever's available at the local shop IYSWIM - but it's in his genes.
My exOH (their dad) once bought me a breadmaker (I had NOT said I wanted one)
3 CDs which were COPIES with SCANNED 'covers'
and he would buy the gift. get it in a bag, then wrap the gift AND the bag
Funny thing is, when his dad and I split I knew I would have NO probs with DS it was DD who was a total daddies girl that I thought I would lose...
But HIS behaviour towards them sorted that.
The silly silly man he had one utterly devoted daughter!
