Unless theyve changed how it works (Which I dont believe they have) ESETS firewall is awful (ie ~ worse than windows):idea:0

It changes from year to year, Norton has had a bad reputation for the last couple of years (and rightly so) of having poor performance, bloated AV/suites.
However from what reviews I have read of the latest, Norton 2009/360 is one of the best suites around. So I would be inclined to have Norton over Kaspersky.
If you want a free one I don't think you can beat Avira at the Moment.
I personally am using Eset Smart Security (very light on resources so good to use for older machines.) at the moment.
Have tried Kaspersky, I have to admit I wasn't that impressed, Think it is starting to get bloated.0 -
Kaspersky is good to use. Norton will kill the system speed and take long time to scan.0

I've currently got Norton Internet Security on my laptops, would it be simple to change to Kaspersky? I sort of imagine Norton making it difficult to switch from them.A problem shared is a problem multiplied.0

I have Norton on one PC and Kaspersky on another.
(My logic is that two checkers are better than one!)0 -
Open a bank account with Barclays and register for internet banking. Leave a pound in there and get Kaspersky 2010 for "free" with an annual upgrade.
I have Kaspersky on my laptop and am very happy with it, much better than the McAfee it came with.
2 PC's have free AV's, but they are OLD and creaky.0
