maybe the people that you think have stolen your phone would also like not to be accused of doing so?0 -
Id send them a letter enclosing a copy of your passport HNDL are a classic for leaving parcels where ever they feel like it.
I know one should never presume but im going too. I think most of them are self employed (could be wrong) so they get paid by the drop. So they dont care where the parcel gets left, as long as they dont have to return it the dept or re-attempt a delivery the next day.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
I would do as another poster has said
ask for them to send you proof of the signature they have then once you have received it then you could send a copy of your signature along with a copy of your passport as someone else has mentioned
it may well be the driver left it and it has gone walkies
i had a issue where i received a ps3 that was signed for by neighbourgh
there was a completly different item in the box i phoned them up and it took 4 months to sort out
they said i had signed for it
i said impossible as i have the card that home delivery network put through my door so it cant be my signature can you read out the name they did and guess what it was not me
they told me to send a copy of the card not the origional and it would all be sorted out, i did this 3 times and only upon going to a solicitor and on the day i was to issue a court summons against the company did they refund my account and clear my credit report (as some bright spark at the company told me to start making payments even though i was in dispute and i could have the money off another product when it was all sorted)
hopefuly you will not have to go through all of this
all the best0 -
A similar thing happened to me today. A parcel was left on my front doorstep while I was out. I have a card stating that it was left there.
When I arrived home it had gone and my neighbour informed me that 2 lads walked of the street and took it.
No one seems to want to help me. I rang the courier company (Hermes) and was told I was not the customer so they wouldnt deal with me.
My parcel was from Dorothy Perkins and so far silence from them.
Does anyone know what I should do next? :mad:0 -

You need to contact Dorothy Perkins' customer service and inform them that you have not received your parcel. The onus is on them to prove otherwise. If you are able, scan the card onto the PC and email it to DP. And, of course, do not deal with the courier - that is the retailer's job and don't let them tell you otherwise.0 -
Also, just as a note - you would be better off starting a new thread rather than dig up one from 3 months ago.0
