Despite the replies you are getting, please do leave this here as it may well help someone else who researches before pressing the Join Now button.
It's only the internet, people do like a bit of banter:)
Beware of imitations e.g. Robert Sterling0 -
As stated on this page "Consumer Revenge" and that's how I feel - I want to seek vengeance for the deliberate manipulation of ecommerce for personal gain. They've ripped me off by working the system and I want to get even. If I get my money back it'll be a win. If all they get is bad press on this forum then some other consumer wins.0

Was there a box to click confirming that you had read the T&C's?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Surely 'deliberate manipulation of e-commerce for personal gain' describes every business on the internet? I can understand that you are frustrated, but I think it should be with yourself for not checking the Ts and Cs. You can't really call this a rip-off as the terms were available for anyone to see before signing up, and I wouldn't even say that they were necessarily deserving of bad press seeing as they have abided by their published terms. To be honest, I think you have been lucky - you paid to sign your children up to something on the internet without reading the terms and conditions, which is surely a mistake when there are so many ways things could have ended up worse than being out of pocket.
Your issue seems to be the lack of paperwork, but when the Ts and Cs are provided on the site, it's down to you to check them in the same way that you could sign an agreement without reading it, but it's your responsibility to do so. I would think of this as a lesson well learnt and consider a cancellation/refund as a bonus.0 -
I took out monthly membership for my daughter and read the t's & c's. I cancelled in April knowing that they automatically renew. They have ignored this and carried on taking payment.
I am not legally minded but t's & c's state that you can cancel so how can they get away with charging indefinately?
I don't want the membership, I have cancelled they are still charging hardly good practise by a reputable company.
I'd steer clear in future.0 -

I do hope you have spoken to them since May, when first erroneous payment was taken.
Or have you left it for five months before noticing their oversight?
You haven't given us the full story have you?0 -

Next time before inputting your payment details, make sure you know what your buying and pay attention. I don't think you will manage to give the company bad press as it appears you were the one at fault. If anything, you are giving them free advertising.0
