Aw Kindof...i do like that set - have you tested it anywhere yet? (sorry i haven't had a chance to read through yet or i'll forget everything i have to say). This is my trouble as i am only 5ft i really have to try things out and make sure i don't look like a child pushing a buggy
Also folding the buggies up - some look easy on the demos but are a nightmare when you come to doing it yourself. It is tough for us as when DD turned 1 we bought a Volo stroller as we were off on hols (is just over 4kg) so now anything feels like a blimming tank when lifting or pushing them, lol! Also after you have had a play with it stick it back in the box if you are gowing to store it in the garage (i used to work in mothercare and some prats used to leave display buggies in the stock basement uncovered and they'd get ridiculously dusty)
I know, if BIL had just quickly called us and asked if they could pass some stuff on (he gave it to his REALLY ungrateful and not very nice younger brother who has always given us trouble). I wouldn't have minded, i mean i would have said what he could give and what we really wanted to keep - i try not to hold a grudge even though the guy (the younger one) hates us for some reason and i would have still let them have some stuff.
Som - glad to hear pooch is ok. And (i hope i am not being all confused here) but congrats on being team PINK - YAY!!!! Little girls are fab
OOOOh Kind of, the swine flu jab is a very sore subject here too - my brother is coming over from China with his 6months old boy and wife to stay with us for 6 weeks soon. He has asked me to keep DD out of nursery for the time he is over and is pushing at me getting the jab! I understand he is scared but if he's that scared then maybe he shouldn't come over but obviously i can't say that to him, i think he is just over reacting - but at the same time i feel guilty for saying no. I keep telling him he has more chance of baby getting it while they are going to be doing all the tourist bits in London than from DD going to nursery two days a week (swine flu hasn't really hit here where we live).
Three2b - i know what you mean. OH's family are hit and miss really - some really lovely and others, well i can't understand how they are even related to the rest, lol!
Labour vibes to those who need them, and stay put vibes to those who want to hold out a few days (sorry i forgot exact names again - i am crap at this)

Hmmm sounds like fun but then my edd is ten days before xmas, so store may be a bit busy ????Fishcake_Random wrote: »Hey all,
I had my first meeting at the Job Center this morning so now I just have to wait 3 weeks without any income to see if I can claim JSA. So its going to be a struggle.
However I have found out today that if me and OH find our own 2 bed place and the housing benefit people agree the rent etc is suitible then we may just find a two bed place before this baby arrives. OH thinks that one of the 2 bed flats in our block is vacant and the landlords people are checking for us. So if it is empty and we want to move then we should be able to move up-stairs with no costs what so ever. No even diposit as our existing one would just move over.
x x xLove the pic Som!!!
Theres forum downtime on Friday between 2-6pm - I guess that means we cant post then
Boo for down time when I have nothing planned
Som - yay for definitely being team pink and lovely scan.
GISI - snap I am having pasta and sauce for dinner - making a few portions for easy eating over the next week or so.
Although I have just managed to burn my bump. Took the lid off the saucepan and put it on the cooker (not very safely) and it slid to fall on the floor and I jusst automatically moved forward to stop it with my belly - ow. Might see if I can put some aloe vera on it. Can't really run it under the cold tap especially as it is the underside:oTegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

It really is a small world since we don't exactly live at opposite ends of the country from each other :rotfl:
Good luck with the move, I moved house in August, from a 2 bed flat into a 3 bed house, and we're finally going to get some furniture for DD's room tomorrow so I can finish unpacking:rotfl:
