where did u get the battery from , most of car batteries ahve 3 or 5 year guarantee , i would call the place tell them , and get them to come to you

From the guy up the street who works for a car parts company, he got it from his stock and only charged me £10 but i saw him put it in and i'm pretty sure he took it out of some packaging and it looked brand new to me! I've told him about it but he says he's working away til Saturday  :(

oh bummer , dont take to scrap yard yet , or get battery removed b4 you do as you should be able to get your money back on it, a consumer gets 12 months guarantee from the manufacture anyway but most batteries come with 3 or 5 years
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec

Hope so, just want him to look at it but he's probably another one who wants to have my eyeballs on a plate. Not trusting people at the mo lol.

Had a weird nights sleep, i kept waking up cos i'd stretched my legs in my sleep and pulled the muscles in the back of my legs, and it was agony cos my legs totally spasmed! That happened about 4 times and they're still hurting now!
Have really restless legs when i first go to bed aswell, feel like i want to slap them or stick them in some iced water lol. :(

  • had my EPAU scan today, even though still bleeding everything is fine, baby was even fidgeting about just to make sure i knew all was ok ;)
Midwife just advised that as everything looks perfect they are just going to assume that this time around i might just randomly bleed but not to worry about it. Good to get the confirmation though!

DD aged just 3 done her ballet perfomance in a little theatre production - she was a little star, so full of confidence and centre stage after the not so great rehersals before. I even had tears in my eyes and so did daddy. :p :T I am so proud as i thought she'd freak out when she saw the audience (i would, lol) but she didn't, she really enjoyed showing what she was made of. She also saw the scan today and couldn't figure out where the baby was, haha.

Feeling blimmin sick though so hoping this nausea will disappear asap. Anyone remember when theirs went, and did it fade, or a sudden dissapearence?

Sticky baby vibes to all who need them...;)

yay for everything being alright at your scan

My sickness went about week 17 suddenly.

I'm a bit worried today, not felt baby move much at all since Saturday, not sure if it's just cos I've been busy and not ill anymore so not in bed all day waiting to feel him, or if he's just not moving so much? Felt a bit of movement last night so I'm sure he's ok but am getting a bit paranoid...not sure what to do :o

when this happened to me I didn't go to work until I felt some movement. Maybe sit quietly somewhere and wait for him to move. If you are worried though get in touch with your midwife

Three - good news about your sister. Hope she keeps progressing well.

Beenie - bad news about your car. I used to hate taking my car for MOT on my own, cause I just never knew if they were taking the mickey or not.

Kindof - might be worth posing your question on the parent thread. I know that you can also get beanbag type things that babies can lie on. Not sure if this could be used for baby to sleep in during the day. Some people put their babies straight into cots, plus it depends on the size of your baby how long it will last in the moses basket. I will have moses basket by bed but once jr has outgrown it will be going in cot in nursery on floor below ours. Hopefully will last a while before that happens.
