I was going to use the sensitive skin (forgot its name, its in a white bottle though) fabric conditioner as it has a baby on the front lol.

I might just get the fairy gel as you dont need softner with them :)

Argh, i only ate at 10:30am and im hungry again! :(

Yay for winning kindof! :D x

Just a little thing that I found with DD is some babies have really sensitive skin and can get rashes from fabric conditioner, so I used to put her vest's and nappies (as they were closest to her skin) on an extra rinse cycle, only takes 10 mins on my machine, and meant she didn't get a rash. I also use eco washing powder (like ecover) on her nappies and vests, and most of her clothes, but every few washes or when something is stained or whites look a bit grey I use persil and do two extra rinses. This seems to keep her rashes away! She is much less sensitive now than she was when she was tiny though.

Just thought I'd mention it in case you were planing on stocking up on a particular brand, you might wanna try one type and see how she is with it first iyswim. Or you may want to ignore me cos I am over the top! ha ha! :D

This is just my OPINION, but I'm not going to bother with non-bio. For one, the UK is one of the few countries in the world that sells non-bio detergent, which just goes to show you it's something that manufacturers are telling us we "need" when billions of people (including millions in industrialised, first-world nations) are doing fine without it. This might be because I'm American and therefore didn't grow up with the advertising/marketing around non-bio so I'm less willing to believe in it.

But I have heard fabric conditioner is a no-no...we don't use it anyway, as a cup o' vinegar actually works much nicer (and doesn't leave residue!) and is far cheaper. Deffo no fab con on cloth nappies, as it affects their absorbancy.

lou - you've just confirmed my fear...I've also got a GP appt for my 32 week and I really want to know what position the baby is in but fear that a GP won't be able to find it at all. Dunno why they make us go this late in pregnancy when it's more important to have people who know what they are doing!! I'd rather have gone much earlier at like 20-something when all they do is take your BP & pee. Grrr.

I had my 38 week appointment with my GP today and he admitted it was because the MW simply doesn't have enough appointments. He was really good though, and told me baby is no longer back to back so I am a happy Mummy!

Awww bless, its !!!!! that no one asked you though

Where can I find police auctions lol

    LOL Ea

OH God so really I cant use fabric softner?? I always use that :( I am going to have to rewash Elliots clohtes now lol

I washed all my baby clothes in non-bio and the comfort conditioner you got in the Bounty bag (and in NCT bags). I really don't think they'd be allowed to put them in the Bounty bag if there was a problem with using it on baby stuff
I thought it was to do with softener leaving more chemicals on the clothes, which could cause a reaction? Don't know for definite though. Might try the vinegar trick trick though, very :money:

Yeah bio makes my eczema worse. Don't have it all the time, but if I use bio (or stay somewhere that does on sheets, towels etc) it can irritate me and bring on a flare up.

I'm the same as you SJ- bio can really make me flare up. Some are definitely worse than others though. We tend to just use own brand non-bio at home.

Ikea was good. We only got a lamp and a few photo frames for baby photo Xmas gifts.

On the baby bridesmaid topic, here is my beautiful niece as my bridesmaid when she was just one http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1833222&l=faf666f961&id=799340299 . Dress and shrug both from BHS!

I can not catch up 11 pages since i last posted  Anything happen?

Well my cold has turned into more like flu. I went to bed at 8 last night but had to get up it was too early and i couldn't sleep. Went back at 10 and managed to go until 3. Coughing and spluttering everywhere i woke hubby up so i went to get a hot drink and sat down stairs until he got up and came down ready for work at 7, I had just finally drifted off as well.

Why can't men handle illness? When hubby is ill i have to drop everything and look after him 24 7 and of course he is dying. When i am ill he gets mardy with me for some reason maybe cos there is nothing he can do and i don't complain and have him running around after me.

Him: you been down here all night?
    Me (half a sleep) yes
Him: do you feel any better?
    Me: No
Him: Are you going to let ds have a day off as you to sick to take him.
Me: No, I can't do that and i want to go to bed while he is at school.
Him: you can speak to me nicely you know, not just short yes no answers:eek:

So off he went to work without even offering to make me a drink, no txt or call all morning to see how i am.
I was so ill i rang the MW and Docs as i was being sick, crying which i always do after i am sick, had a temp, sweating, sneezing and coughing, I was a bit annoyed with the MW, it is just who ever is on call and they only there 9-10 I don't have a number for my actual MW it's a team base number only. All she said was keep fluid up and go to bed. She didn't ask my name or if i had felt the baby move or anything. ( I have BTW)
So i have just woke up and feel a bit better now all that is off my chest. Going to have a cuppa now.

My cat is fab she is not a lap cat at all but she does know when you are poorly.
She stayed with me all night on the sofa and she had to be actually sitting on me, then when i went to bed she was on me and when i turned she turned with me like she was on a barrel lol and now she is sat right at my feet she knows how to look after me.

That's not really to my taste, but then I want to buy a Christmas pudding outfit for next year and I bet that's not everyone's cup of tea either!!

So I went to greggs, and mcdonalds  Didn't eat my sausage roll yet but it's here on my desk waiting from me to crack!!

Fidget I pulled some muscle in my bump the other day it was horrid. Hope yours is feeling better soon and you can get comfy somewhere :o
