Right, time for a proper catch up :D

Kindof, I was around at 1.24 because I got the scan time wrong, it was actually at 2 :rotfl: Thank god OH checked or I'd have been sat there like a lemon at 1!!

Nikkit I really like that cotbed - don't suppose you've seen in real life? Tempted to get OH to take me to Toys r Us & see if they've any in so I can see it in real life...

Sj the new site looks great :) Really love the name too, think it rolls off the tongue really well!

Redstararnie, hope the sickness clears up soon :grouphug: On the bright side, at least it reminds you you're pregnant every time you puke! I remember wishing for sickness as I felt so unpregnant!!

Kindof, hope things are ok with your mum? Try not to worry too much, think people just tend to say things without thinking sometimes & I'm sure she didn't mean any harm :) Maybe drop into conversation that you're struggling financially, see if she might offer?

Mrs I I love Gabriel for a boy, wanted it for this one but OH disagreed :( & I prefer Monique for a girl :)

& not forgetting...lots of labour vibes for those in need :D

Well, our little boy is spoilt already. After the scan we went into Mothercare and spent more than is probably reasonable on clothes...got a couple of bits from George too...now I've been let loose on the computer, little ASOS has the majority of my wage for this month. Whoops!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

    evening everyone

    congrats on the scan gymfiend

labour vibes to everyone that needs them x

Well I should have left for work about 30 minutes ago - i'm gonna be so late and just sat here wondering why i even bother. OH has broken down in his lorry and they are trying to fix it at the roadside so he is going to be hours yet. If i wasnt working he would be able to do more nights out and overtime, I could help DD with her school work more and I wouldnt be nearly so tired, really tempted to just jack it in.

To top it all I've had another bleed today. More than spotting but not alot and it seems to have stopped again, was bright red.

Kindof- Sorry ur mum isn't being great at the minute, I think mum's forget what they say at times, I'm sure she didn't realise what she said.

Karen- Whereabouts? I'm in Kings Lynn so probably not at the same hsopital as you, but Hi!

MrsI- I prefer Monica I think

Glam- I'd buy the book too! Need all the help and advice I can get as I have no pregnant friends or any with kids I can talk to, so this forum is a lifeline

I feel much better now, had a cry at work and spoke to my manager who is really p***ed off thaat I have had all this rubbish, and I was moved to another office to get caught up with stuff where no one could find me. Feel that my manager and senior staff have been really supportive and concerned.

Also managed to book a half day for Friday to try and recoup aftger the last few weeks which is a result! Thanks for the support ladies- hopefully I'll be able to do the same for you guys too (not that I want you to need it but you know what i mean!)

Congrats to gymfiend on another Team Blue.

Thanks for the Cotbed snippet. I'm gutted I missed this as just ordered one the other day from Argos- never mind.

Totally freaked out following visit to MW for 39wk appt - baby is facing wrong way (back 2 back) so I'm now really worried that all my labor fears are going to come true - very long and very painful. Could have done without this especially after suffering pretty much constant nausea for 8 months too. If ANYONE has any tips or good experiences to share about such a situation then I'd be more than happy to here them.:(

Hi all - Lou i'm here, thanks for missing me :D:D

Good luck and labour vibes to Fidget, jenny, nanc and helen :D

Congrats on team pink EA, and team blue Gym! Memory is limited although i have been reading, so sorry i can't acknowledge everyone!

Had quite a productive few days, finished the toilet although the standard of work isn't great but does my face look bovved :p etc :p

Got my mother over today and her friend to help me start DS bedroom, so we got it ready to be papered, painted ceiling and glossed. Then went to buy the paper so i can start getting that up at some stage this week although i need a pasting table and my sister has one but isn't speaking to me for some reason

Also chose my wallpaper for my room, mother doesn't like it and says it's "gippo-ey" cos it's got glitter in :D But i love it and it's only for one wall the rest i will put lining paper and paint!

Wish i could say this was the start of my nesting but it's all such a struggle and i'm still not motivated at all, i am getting bigger by the day and it's only going to get harder so have forced myself to get started.

  • Yay for team blue Gymfiend! I so do not blame you for going mad in Mothercare etc. I swear not finding out the sex is the most money saving thing I have done this pregnancy as it does remove so much temptation.

So glad you're getting some support at work, Gemma and yippee for a half day.

I love that cotbed. It looks really similar to our one which is from John Lewis, and cost about £200 (gift from my Mum).

Well done on the decorating, Beenie. Sounds like you're doing a great job so far.

OH took me for a lovely lunch at Gourmet Burger Kitchen using the £15 voucher on here. It was really nice, even though I don't eat meat there were a few veggie options and the milkshakes there are ace! Did all my eBay posting, plus DHL picked up another eBay parcel, so quite a productive day all in all. I am shattered now though. Even waddling round a few shops is getting really hard- not quite sure I'll be able to even leave the house if I go overdue, but we'll see.....we're off swimming tomorrow so hopefully that will help.
