No idea if louis will be on tonight, his poor bf must be in bits. must be hell going on a holiday that's meant to be fun and all lovey then something like that happens. Unimaginable!!!
Well i need to clean the cave in the fish tank, looks as if OH cut corners when cleaning it and left it. It looks green when the sun shines in. YUCK.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Watching cookery program's as the TV is bad today, most of it is repeats. Waiting on the bio of Jon Bon Jovi to cheer me up. yum yum.
24 week's today:eek:
Congratulations on 24 weeks!! Viable now!!! That's my next milestone, how exciting. Time is going very fast though.
I'm going to go do a big shop this morning. DH is out as he plays football on Sundays so I can go and only get what we need (that's the plan anyway!!) Going to have a think about all this week's meals before I set off though.0 -
Well i don't think i will leave OH to do the fish tank alone again. He pulled the you cant lift etc on me before and has been doing it when i'm out but Yuck he's cheated all the time. Not only did he avoid cleaning the cave (which is now sparkling btw) he hasn't cleaned the filter casing properly and the corners have been left uncleaned and looks like the plants haven't been done. So basically all he has done is change the water and clean the filters.
To top it all Max is casting and leaving his hair everywhere, it would be easier to hoover him than the carpets 3 times a day.lol I think the RSPCA may class that as animal cruelty though lol:o
DS is up and taken control of the remote in his fathers absence so Bon Jovi has been delayed till the 4 o'clock repeat:rolleyes:[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

I was shocked to hear the news about Stephen this morning. I've been a Boyzone fan since I was about 10 and saw them the pas 2 years at Wembley - so sad. Only yesterday DH and I were talking about a song that he sang this year at the concert.

So I'm trying to plan this weeks meals and am getting incredibly frustrated that I have no oven!!!!! Grrrrrr :mad:0

SJ , you are in rented accomodation if remember rightly , is the oven your landlords ? if so he must mend the oven within 7 days or you can report him to enviromental health as you need a oven by law and he must mend it within a certain time , i had a similar situation with my bath it had a crack init, i called landlord and he didnt respond so i sent him a recorded letter so i had proof i had told him and said if he did not mend the bath within 7 days i would report him and within 2 days it was all fixed .
HTHDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -
SJ - Do you have a slow cooker? I Picked mine up for about £10 from tesco and although my ovens in working order it stops me from using so much energy. I do lots of stews and casseroles in it. It's good too because DH's trains are often late so he gets home later than planned and dinner doesn't get ruined in it

Thanks Nikkit, yeah we are in rented. We've told them weeks ago it was broken but at first it was just the grill element. However it now seems that the element breaking has shorted somehting and the oven won;t work at all. I will definitely get on to them tomorrow to get it sorted asap. I make wedding cakes for people and have 2 weddings booked in for the 24th so I NEED it fixed / replaced by then otherwise I'm in big trouble! I've already had to postpone 3 lots of visits to people with sample cupcakes this week so I might have lost money already as a result0

SJ i'm with Muso on the SC, not just for the current oven situation but for when bub's gets here. It takes the pressure off cooking meals at night when you are busy with the little one. And it is near on impossible to burn anything if you are distracted for five minutes(or 2 hours lol) I just bung everything in in the morning on low or afternoon on high and by dinner it is ready. Plus as Muso say's if OH is late it is still warm for him after feeding kids etc.
The old style board has loads of recipes from starters to puds even roast chicken lol so it's not just Stew's.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j
