BooBoo We really should get medals or at least bonuses paid for each year we have them.lol OH swears he hates coleslaw yet every time i buy it then go to use it half the pack is gone:confused: I must have a vegetarian ghost.

Jaffa cake is done and in the fridge setting. DS wants his friend to stay for the night again so i think i'll keep it for desert later he has a big apatite.

OH is back my dad threw him out after 10min lol Saying he doesn't need him then phones me and asks me to help out later, nothing heavy just sorting tools etc.

FIL has bought DD a beautiful silver charm bracelet so i think we will buy her some charms for Christmas. really need to start sorting out presents.

Just cleaned the kitchen and i'm off to mess it up making dinner......A woman's work is never done lol

Awww Kindof please don't worry about GIL, I had the same when I was pregnant with DD but she soon came round when I got Shingles (apparently it can cause a miscarriage) now she calls DD "my precious" (think Golem in LOTR):rotfl:

Aww thank you, yes the first thought that popped into my head there was Golem lol

Ive had to come out the spare room, the fumes from the gloss was really getting to me, so OH is painting the door then its done YAY

Oh actually I need to remind him he has the skirting boards to do eek lol

Then I might go in the bath and then start the lasagne, the receipe I have says it takes 1 hour 45 mins  Ohhhhhhh I might do a rice pudding!!! My mam gave me a recipe that she always cooks when she has the oven on for an amount of time

I will probs do some slimming world chips to have with the lasagne as well

Yorkygirl- I've got asthma and a heart murmur and so far so good, just had one or two attacks, worst one was when someone nearly knowcked me over coming out of my office and I took a sharp breath and went from there.

Had a couple of palpitations, but other then that no problems. Seems to be more manageable now i'm pg so hopefully your's will be too

My GP said my asthma should get better during pregnancy, that is my main concern with being pregnant/giving birth is that Ill have an attack and put the baby at risk

Sorry yorkygal hadnt been on since I asked - I waited nearly 2 weeks after going to the docs till the midwife called with appointment so hopefully you'll hear soon. Even though I know, its not till 23rd oct seems ages yet. It'll be nice once I have the midwifes number to call if there are any questions or problems.

No problem MERFE, I actually received my appointment info through the post this morning. My appointment with MW is Monday 26 Oct :T:D I think Ill be about 9wks when I go. I have to fill out 2 lots of 'Case Files' before I go but a lot of it seems to be for them to fill in - Im tempted to leave it til I go and fill it in with her

Glad that everyone now seems to be on the mend.

I've not had nearly as productive a day as some of you but managed to get the weekly shop done and finished buying stuff for the nursery too.

So embarrassed in Tesco's, I saw my granddads wife (I can't call her nan as she is younger then my mum) and my mum hasn't told them I'm having a baby yet. She sees them at least once a month, and I don't really so I assumed she would tell them. Just wanted the ground to open up as I guess she felt a bit miffed not to know, and I'm so cross with my mum.

She told her best friend before I wanted anyone to know but hasn't even told her dad and I've only got 16 weeks left! I don't know if I've overreacted cos we had a fall out when we went to see Take That at Wembley in July and since then I've felt that I don't really want to be around her too much as she seems to be being a bit spiteful about anything and everything, including Michael Jackson dying !?!?!?

I know some of you have been having parent issues too, it seems so much harder when you are pregnant as you should be getting closer not drifting away from each other.

On a happier note, am getting a chinese takeaway for tea tonight, SS Chicken with egg fried rice- am starving so just had some cheese and biscuits to keep me going.

Also I think the baby kicked and punched me at the same time on differnt sides this morning, was bizarre!

Hope everyone has a good evening and enjoys theie lovely sounding food. OH is also exgtremely fussy and until I met him had never eaten italian, chinese or indian food. He llived on waffles and beans!

hehe I love all the tales of fussy OHs, and have to agree mine is the same. Would love to eat enchiladas or tacos or curry, he wont even do lasagne so the only past that passes his lips is spag bol. Don't know if its cos am PG but always fancy something different atm, but unless I can muster the energy to cook two meals its not gonna happen. The only other option is ready meals or even more expensive reastaurant! Ah well there are bigger worries in the world than your next meal, at least its food. Speaking of which, cheese and ham toasties for us, how gormet hehe.

Well town wasn't so bad, altho it seems Toys r Us only do beding for Cot beds not cots grrr, so the bedding set we wanted was a no go. Still bought a Gro bag tho, its so cute and a bargain in the sale.
