Well i survived Tesco but only just, wish they would have a ladies night in Tesco like the swimming so you don't have to dodge all the bored looking men with their trolleys in the center of the isles:mad:
Managed to stay within budget and i still have my top ups money left(usually spend it lol) This is our skint week so the kids were rather disappointed at no sweets etc but i think i'll be forgiven when the jelly sets for the giant jaffa cake. hoping to have enough chocolate left for cornflake cakes or to coat some of twinks hob knobs.
Made french toast(eggy bread) and i'm stuffed but craving the chocolate for the jaffa cake.
Love making my own lasagna to and OH complains cause he say's he hates it but always eats some, so i just keep making it:rotfl: Same with chicken he won't eat it unless it is covered in sauce like curry or loads of gravy. It has only just been resent that he will take a leg when the chicken is fresh out the oven, awkward man.
Off to check the jelly.
X factor without simon!!! thats like bolognaise without the tomatoes. just wont work.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Hi everyone!
I'm also feeling a little better today although I had a rough start. We've been round Homebase and Halfords where I felt really sick but then we went to Burger King which perked me up! Did a super cheap shop (for us) in Netto and picked up Marley and Me on DVD from Tesco for a bargainous £5!:money:
Got a day of watching Tv and doing washing ahead of me but hopefully I'll be up to making a proper meal tonight. The last few nights we've managed with just frozen pizza has Ive felt ill and DH gets home late and can't cook! If all
goes to plan trying a new recipe of baked homemade meatballs with gnocchi in a pepperonata sauce - yum yum!

32B- just put forward your ladies night idea to DH and he said he'd quite happily go to a Tesco man creche where he could play with the toys while I shop!!

Hi, I only went back to bed for a little bit in the end, still feel ok so I put on some washing, tidy the kids room, tidy lounge, polish and hoovered. OH and kids are back now and OH is putting together the kids new chest of drawers. yeah more storage.
I'm just online printing out the pics of the kids in the park, looks like they had a great time, splashing in puddles and getting attacked by the starving ducks lol.
I've not eaten anything all day today and actually had no dinner yesterday and just gave the kids cheese on toast - such a bad mum. Still not even hungry but I know i'm gonna have to actually cook something today, probably just do a soup so its easy and warming too.0 -
You've been busy MERFE.
I've been uber busy today, we went to ASDA, then popped into GIL's house, which was an event in itself, GIL kindly told us she is disappointed about babybean as we arent married and babybean will be born out of wedlockso that upset me quite a bit.
I mean evreyone is entitled to think what they want about babybean but they shouldnt say stuff that is going to hurt people
Then we went to post office to post a SAR request to Lloyds (trying to claim back PPI on OH's loan) and I have just rememberd we forgot to enclose a £10 chequeso thats !!!!! lol, I am going to have to send another request on Monday with the cheque in cos I think they will just ignore the one we sent today.
We then went to Wilkinson's to get some paint and brushes, and we have just painted the spare room, well the first coat is done, so we need to paint the second coat, and then the skirting boards need glossing
And then I am going to cook lasagne for tea, which will hopefully be ready by the time Xfactor is on lolDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Well i'm on stage 2 of the jaffa cake just giving the jelly time to set in the base then on with the chocolate. OH is away to help my dad which should be fun as dad is used to me helping him and always being a step ahead with the tools etc. OH knows the basics but i foresee dad on the phone complaining i need to train OH. Like i don't know it!! Asked him to get the milk and juice out the car when he was leaving and he didn't so it's just as well i had a spare diluting juice for the kids or that would have been embarrassing, all i can think about is the fresh orange.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

OMG 32B that sounds just like my DH!! He has recently decided he doesnt llike mince so now wont eat my lasagne at all. Grr. So of course this rules out loads like spag bol, chilli...
He also generally will only eat chicken breast when I roast a chicken (unless I hide the other chicken in a curry or something) Well at my brothers wedding recently they served us chicken on the bone and he liked it, hallelujah!! So in the week I bought chicken thighs and did them for us for dinner with hm wedges and he ate it, not as impressed as he was with the one at the wedding but still, its a start!! We need the patience of saints with these men!!
Well lunch with my friend was lovely, it was good to see her again and catch up, and turns out she is 26 weeks pregnant!! I didnt even know this!! So course there was lots of preg talk to be donexx

Awww Kindof please don't worry about GIL, I had the same when I was pregnant with DD but she soon came round when I got Shingles (apparently it can cause a miscarriage) now she calls DD "my precious" (think Golem in LOTR):rotfl:Cross Stitch Cafe member 710
