When did/do you all start shopping for maternity wear???
Jolene - I think it is entirely up to you when you want to buy stuff for your baby. Just go with what you feel like.Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Hello Ladies!
Well today I hit 13 weeks! Yeah! I had my scan on Monday and then we announced our pregnancy to everyone! Do you think its to early for us to buy baby things yet? My mum has bought tonnes of stuff already but we haven't personally.
Jolene
Congratulations!! I remember how pleased I was to get to 12 weeks and have our scan!
I wouldn't say it was too early to buy anything, but keep note of what you buy, otherwise you buy stuff early on and forget about it! Also remember that you will probably get a lot bought for you, we have already and I'm not due til Feb!!!
I have been stockpiliing nappies though! Have almost 200 now I think, but some of those are second size ones!!I work in a small town and although we have a Peacocks and a New Look they don't do maternity stuff
I live in Leeds and have big stores of all the places that do maternity wear but the range is either really small or non-exixtant, even in the big stores. We have the biggest asda in the country and they have one tiny rail of maternity stuff!
I would suggest looking online for stuff. Also I've bought a couple of vest tops from the Top Shop "tall" range, they won't do right until the end but they are great at the moment.
Csh hope you are enjoying mummy cuddles now!!!0 -

Laura, sorry to read your sad news, take care of yourself xxx
Gisi- I have another MW appointment on Monday,my 38week one but it's at home-but Im booked in for homebirth so maybe why. Then Im booked in for appointment on my due date too.
Had another great nights sleep, I can't work out whats going on! Im not knocking it,it's great, I have bags and bags of energy again today, but find it wierd how Ive gone from 3-4 toilet trips in the night and tossin and turning most of the night to sleeping fine all night apart from 1 loo trip at 3am ish
Ive cocked up with my iron tablets..thought I had another full packet in the medicine box but turns out I don't, so Ive got 3 tablets left to last me untill Monday and Im meant to be taking 2 a day. I called in at the doctors this morning to hand my repeat perscrip in so Id get some more by Saturday latest but the doctors is only flamin closed!!! The automatic doors were opening and the dental side was up and running but the doctors side was in darkness and nobody there!! Great, so couldn't organise the perscription, so IF there open tommorow I'll get my tablets on Monday now. I'll just have to just take 1 a day untill I get some more and hope it won't make much difference to my levels.love my little man he is amazing :j0 -
I've got a better one. It was my mum because our nebour when we moved house and i would have been about 10 kept blaming me for cutting through her graden and killing her plants but it wasn't me, mum eventually seen it was the postman climing the walls(their just above knee height) to save him walking the path. So she got some coloured chalk powder and put it over thread and strung loads of them along the walls. She done that the day after the cheeky sod stood and denied it was him my mum had seen doing it. So when he came that day he stood their arguing with her again until she told him he was all chalk and what she had done. Ever since that they have used the path. OMG just realized that was 19yrs ago.
:rotfl:
I love catching people out lol.
Im actually waiting on a parcel, and i dont officially have a front door so i dont think the postman will wait for me to walk all the way down to the garden, out the back door and down the ally to the front gate, so i'll have to camp out in the front window waiting for him lol. And then maybe hang a basket down on a rope, for him to put the parcel in, so i can pull it back up0 -
