If you used the HMRC site it's prob only from today til April 5th then, which is nice news, so you'd get more over a full year
Might make it doable
Ohhh thats promising lol
I just did it again and it said this at the bottom:
This is the amount your household may be entitled to from 02/10/2009 until 05/04/2010. This result is only an estimate and is based on the information provided assuming you make the claim on 02/10/2009. This means the amount shown may not be your entitlement for the full year
SO you are rightso its like just over £1000 for the full first year (I know it drops once baby is one)
Which is still the £80 a month BTW lol
So yes £80 Tax Credits, £80 CHB and a drop in wages of £251 (but clawing back £160 from benefit) so its a loss of £91 ish? but I would be working 2 days less a week
I need to figure out a way to do itI am sure we can if we put our mind to it, even if we just get petrol and food down etc

Is how i feel about my little brother, he has and always will be my baby!
He started school this year, i told my mum i was going to steal him and not let him go to school and he could live with me and be my baby forever lol.
Jack (my brother has the same name as your son) said he would rather go to school like a 'big boy' than be my baby
:rotfl:
But then said "i still luff you though"0 -
DD is in that size and she'll be 2 next month  :rotfl:
aw is she really little?
Jack was 6lb 3oz so had to get tiny baby stuff but he's grown quite long so now in newborn sleepsuits which fit his legs great but are huge on his arms and belly!!
Kindof - I've hardly spent anything since I've had Jack. I'm doing a monthly food shop and batchcooking so no need to 'nip out for something for tea', I hardly use any fuel as I now walk to ASDA for milk, bread and fruit so Jack gets some fresh air & I get exercise! Baby groups I'm going to are free and so will meeting up with the other mums from Parentcraft.
I literally spend money on mortgage, bills and food, although Sept wages are the last of my 90% so I'm down to £123 per month from now on!
The Child Benefit comes thru really quick, I registered Jack's birth last Monday, sent forms off last Wednesday and had everything back now. Payment should be in my bank for the last 4 weeks!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Jack is a very popular name! Been top of Boys list since 2005
One of the girls from Parentcraft has called her son Jack so that could get confusing - will have to start calling mine JD now instead of later on.
Oh dear, he's awake and I was supposed to be making the most of it doing the washing and tidying up not posting on here! Oops!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
