I have to take a urine sample in....what's the best thing to put it in? Will I look silly if I go in with a diet coke bottle lol

I didn't have to take a urine sample in, im glad cause i would of used my wee stores i had for the full bladder requirement lol :rotfl:

Gill if you can get to a dr's they should just give you a sample bottle if you ask for one.

We were really luck with scan pics, got 1 each from the 2 early ones, 2 from 12 week scan and 3 from 20 week scan and didn't have to pay at all. The 20 week pics are so good too!!

At my early scan i went private so got a disc full of pics and 2 videos and 5 printed pics.
For our 12 week scan we went to the same place (as they work for NHS to) and got the same as the early scan, but had to pay £10.

And 20 week scan is at the hospital and its £3 per scan pic.

Its amazing to see how much the prices vary from area to area :)

We have to put £1.50 in a machine to get a token for the scan pics. Not sure what they'll be like tho. They gave us one for free at emergency scan earlier this week but it's quite thin. (and I still cant stop looking at it!)

Gill - Awww! When we had the early scan i took a pic and had it as my phone background, even though it was essentially a little smudge in a tiny womb hehe.

Did you ever post a pic of it? At work they block pics on here so i can never see what people post :(

Kindof - did you work out how much was left over just from your OHs wage if you go part time? Are you counting any benefits you might be entitled to? You're in Scotland...right? Maybe it's different but I know here we get £20 a week in child benefit and other bits and pieces that I don't know much about other than I'm not entitled :(

Beenie really feel for you with the rubbish neighbours :( They're the worst - in our old house we once witnessed the guy 2 doors down physically beating his wife up outside, it was horrendous. Thank god we moved from there, can't complain too much now but know the feeling of having awful neighbours.

On the pillow subject - I'm not sure what a dream genii is but I have a bolster from Ikea, it's like a long sausage shape - I've always slept with one since I was a little kid & I think they're brilliant :) It can't have cost more than a few quid & you can buy all different covers for it. Just tried to find it on the site but can't but I know they still have them as I saw them the other week :D

EA the HIV thing made me laugh - sis in law's fiancee is a V surname and they very nearly named their kid with those initials before realising, had even told everyone the name & it took someone to point it out!! So far this babies initials will be ETW whether a boy or girl - can't think of anything too bad about that, other than E.T!

SJ please can you satisfy my curiosity :D Did you get married at the Town Hall? Really looks like it in the pic & if you did I want to pick your brain please :D Good plan on the name front - all I've had is negativity from anyone I've told our names to - shame for them that their attitudes only make me want to use my apparently odd names more!!

Gill if you pop into your docs they'll give you a sample bottle :D Though it'd be v funny if you took it in a coke bottle!!!

We've had a letter saying each pic is £5 at our 20 week scan
