Tig - you can eat it either way depending on what you fancy.
Spud - with the alkiehol = nasty person, get some proof (other friends or a video) and sit them down and tell them straight. Mean but direct and truthful. With the DS and name calling, tell him to ignore it, since its obvious them doing it have no charm or sense of humour (i mean ive heard every name under the sun - been called a fair few of 'em) and I just ignore it - cos im better than that supposedly.

Also, why didn't I see that..I was in Boots earlier and all I got was a razor....woulda paid a bit more for another man to wine and dine me (ok, he can keep the wine but i want to dine )

Evening all, thanks for all your kind messages. My Nan is doing much better, but it was touch and go on Weds, she was critical for 2 hours or more... they were talking about life support machines or letting her go with dignity but thankfully she's responded well and is hopefully on the road to recovery.

Thanks for replying Elfen.

DS is trying to ignore, but it has gone from one person to several.

As for proof of the boozy behaviour, what a fab idea. That wont be difficult unfortunatley

Spud - next thing might be to go to DS's teacher, or head of year if they have one, so they can find out more, and get the kids if it gets any worse. I had this A LOT when I was younger, sometimes I'd say something, but it only made it worse, so it is better to ignore it, as if they don't get a raise out of DS, they may leave him alone. Also, give him a big hug from me.

Proof of the boozy behaviour, it shows the person how they act so they can't deny it. Usually brings them to their senses and gives them a shock into behaving! (There is evidence of my boozy behaviour somewhere, but hopefully its been destroyed!)
