Bears In Despair part 2......

come on Hamish be nice... the guy has lost money, you should be happy or even laughing...
one thing you need to do understand is the double standards if it's a HPCer or one of the 'negative type people' in financial difficulty you should really feel sorry for them.
however, if it's a over-extended homeowner or an over-levareged BTLer there are queues of people on here salivating and laughing at them hoping that they get reposessed probably hoping that they'll get a cheap house.
Who though - theres an element of that on HPC but I havent seen that here. Most people who want prices to go down just want that to happen so that they can have a shot at getting a home.0 -

Instead of selective hearing, is that selective reading?:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.

It was very simple.
You said you hadn't seen it here and I suggested it may have been selective reading, because it has happened here.:wall:

I don't think you're position is particularly great, especially to be laughing at others.
Each to their own I guess.
What personal circumstances. Did Hamish by at the top of the market?0 -
Hamish is one frightened person..deep down he knows whats coming his way and he has no ability to get out of his situation....... fear stage........It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
Not sure I understand the thread, can't be bothered to read links, limited time. Did someone make a wrong judgement, and now it is a cause for much merriment?
Beats the heck of out any proper economic discussion I guess.0 -

Appears that the runes have not been read by many.
Meanwhile bears have pocketed good profits on the FTSE while the bulls continue to play with their lego bricks.
I take it you are being sarcastic therethe only stock market bulls on here are those playing with their lego bricks.
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
