I went to a wedding fayre today, TBH it was crap but I found a local florist who is cheap and her bouquets are devine :j. We were going faux but her prices are so resonable for fresh and nearly as cheap as ebay for artificial

We are going to see her next week


There was also a lady who does table linen, chair covers centre pieces etc and she quoted me £450 for 8 round tables and top table. That included 76 chair covers and sashes in a colour of my choice, A tablecover for each table, For each table a round mirror and large (very large) fish bowl with crystal gems and roses in each, rose petals for each table and tealights and cloth napkins
The linen I want is ivory.

I thought this was very reasonable she charges £2.95 per chair cover and sash and £15 per centre piece

I've got my shoes Yayayayayay, which means I can now have the dress altered and actually see it properly on! Still umming and ahhhing about flowers. Got one quote for hair, three people plus trail wanted £310, she can jog on!!

Yep!! she was charging £75 just to blow dry my hair on the day alone :eek:

Helpfully worked a shift in aunts pub today and fellow bar staff just happened to be hairdresser, and he knew this girl, his comment?....'greedy cow!!' He's said he'll quote for me!

I may just go to the hairdresser but I'll also get a quote for her to come to me as well
