Franny we need a pic of your shoes!!

That's expensive for the other isn't it! I'm paying £75 for hair and make up on the day and £20 for Sian for hair and (what little she will have!) make up.

I've already paid a £25 deposit, so it's only £70 to pay on the day for that.

For anyone extra (Mother Of Bride, adult BM etc) it's £45 for hair and make up.

It's gonna cost me £75 for both for the trial but I don't mind paying that as she will be here for ages till I decide on make up and a hair do I like! x

Pleased cos I got them for £26.25 in the sale and would not have looked at them online as only whole sizes but the 5 comes up big, so fits really well!

ETA, mine are Ivory and that is a terrible picture they have a squared off toe. Not too high for short a r s e OH too :D

I haven't even thought about shoes or underwear yet :o

I'm going to wait and see what my dresses look like first and then decide what types I need :rotfl:

I was just gonna say they are pointy and you said you didn't want pointy (with a shaking fist action haha)....you'd never tell from the pic that they are square!!

Well done on the bargain too! :T

  • Wow. I go off to London for a couple of days and come back and we've moved on 2 whole pages. :D

That dress is lovely - I'm a short a r s e so can't have a "full" skirt so anyone who has one I am very jealous of. Although i do love my dress.

Re the invites - I so wish I had even a slither of artistic ability. I can do a stick man and that's the limit of my skill :o. Very nice!

I'm feeling terribly left behind. Haven't found shoes (not for lack of looking), haven't asked about hair/makeup, only just looking at photographers/florists/invitations. I want it all done now but then again, I do have a whole year. I must learn patience!
How long til pay day?

    hi girls

just wanted to let you know we've got our rings!! we've just been to Turkey for a week and found some fab rings in one of the gold centres there :D

I went off to the loo and OH was looking at wedding rings when I got back, we hadn't even thought about buying rings yet! We found a matching pair, 14karat yellow & white gold. The guy wanted £710 at first but we ended up paying £375 for the pair!! which I'm pretty pleased with. I thought mine would have to be custom made as I have an odd shaped engagement ring, but they managed to alter it slightly so the engagement rings sits perfectly in it! Plus other half managed to get a new clasp on his necklace and my engagement ring recoated and un-bent (!) for free too!:T

    another tick on the list!!
    Getting hitched! 23/10/10!! :T
Wedding weight loss so far: 7lb!
