:rotfl: what satin or chiffon :rotfl:

I surfed last night but not many High Street stores do any dresses suitable plus I am not willing to fork out stupid money for a maternity gown for her :o

    :rotfl::rotfl:
As least you are thinking ahead, I'd be  (but that more cos my BM is my daugther of 13, major )

How about H&M? They do a maternity range which includes dresses

The lovely Linda has come to my rescue! Thankfully!! I had quotes over £100 to alter my dress down a size or two and was starting to get very low about it, but now Linda is going to do it!

    Hi there

I'm getting married on 9 October 2010 and cannot wait!!!

We've booked the church, venue, photographer and videographer. I've started wedding dress shopping and have seen something I like, but going to see more this weekend. Wedding fayres too! Yay!

I'm having a nightmare with invitations. My OH is chinese and so we want to have a chinese style invite, but this is proving sooooo difficult to find anything that you don't have to order from china (too many problems with spelling errors etc etc - so his sister warned me!). Think we're going to have to think about making our own - eeek!

Yay - a wedding date twin! That is my wedding day too!! :j:j
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

Totally recommend Vistaprint in that case. Sign up and then play around with some designs. Then wait for a few days. Free offers start flooding in and you can pick and choose with offer suits you best. By doing this I got 30 linen finish day invites plus envelopes and 100 evening invites plus envelopes, 30 save the day fridge magents and a pen for £15. Was a bit dubious but figured £15 was cheap enough to risk, so pleased I did, they are lovely!

Thanks for this Frannyann - I was having a nightmare with invites. Will go and have a nosey now.

Went and had a look and found a perfect set of invites etc. Not fussy and in the colour scheme I wanted. Once again, thanks.
How long til pay day?

  • I had a very wedding orientated day yesterday. I managed to:
    • book the String Trio
    • book the hairdresser/makeup lady
    • look at some invites (found some I like but OH thought they were too plain  He was the one who told me to look for plain)
    • look at some bridesmaid dresses as I am now having two bridesmaids as I felt I needed a calming influence of a friend (and also someone who is great at tying corsets).
    • watch Bridezillas - this made my OH realise how reasonable I was being. :D
