Only a few days left for me now... getting married on Saturday...
I'm finding these last few days a bit torturous - I've got nothing to do, as everything is sorted, but I know that from the time I finish work at Thursday lunchtime things are going to be mental! There's nothing I can do to make it any better though! I cleaned the bathroom last night, and painted my toenails, just to keep myself busy!!
To top it all off, we've just found out that a friend who is making the cake now wants to deliver it later, and the best man has booked a hotel over 30 miles away from the hotel we're getting married in... totally bizarre but I am going to leave him to it!
At least it's only today and tomorrow of sitting around, and I'm very busy at work so at least the daytimes fly by!
Anyone else getting married this weekend? Hope you're all calm and collected lol x0 -
mimosaurus you will be fine! I have got longer left but as a supply teacher I have not been working very much and feel I am sat twiddling my thumbs! I have cleaned the windows, done the ironing, moved all the furniture, cleaned on top of the kitchen cupboards, cleaned the christmas decs running out of things to do now! I feel that I must have missed something, I can't be this organised. My cake is being taken away to be iced soon, my dress is being altered and it is driving me mad!
I have realised while planning my wedding that I am a control freak! I really don't want anyone to do anything - it is my wedding! Not a good way to feel - even my H2B is not good enough at the moment!0 -

I didn't wear mine at all before and ended up taking them off during the wedding breakfast, my 8 year old daughter wore them more than me :rotfl:mimosaurus wrote: »Only a few days left for me now... getting married on Saturday...

It will fly by in a haze, it certainly did for us.
Saturday morning there was nothing to do then all of a sudden all hell broke loose - the lady came to do my hair and make up, a friend was doing the girls hair, the flowers came, my mum and dad came it went mental.
