I have done so much myself just because I am a control freak and can trust no-one to do it as well as I can at the moment!
Haha, I am the same. At first, I said to the OH that he would have to do half, but as things have progressed, I have taken control of everything apart from what he is going to wear, the playlist for the DJ and the rings (all of which I have sternly told him HE is sorting!) Lol! I was the same when we bought our house. I work in customer service, and it is easier for me to use the phone during the day (plus, he is a typical bloke and clams up when he is within 3 feet of a phone), but I pretty much did everything! I actually felt a little sorry for our sols come our completion date!!I have been in the insurance industry for the past 6 1/2 years (protection products)
We have now bought our first home :j(completion date - 23.07.2010)
Wedding budget: £2,000 so far spent: £1,850. Wedding date of 27.08.2011 :T0 -

Met with the photographer again today to go over the final running order of the day, they will not be traditional wedding photographs
Again, I have a good friend doing this for me (why not call in a few favours?) he is organising a quote at the moment which we should hopefully receive this week!I have been in the insurance industry for the past 6 1/2 years (protection products)

Aww, good luck for this weekend. I hope it all goes well for you, and you must share a piccie or two on here so that we can start stressing when realising our big day won't be as great as yours! She saw my dress (even on me) and went ' wow'! That makes me feel so much more confident! Woman in the bridal shop saying we don't provide dresses for fat people like you had made me feel awful! Fel all excited again now - must start wearing my shoes in the house though - 3 pairs and 3 weeks!
What a HORRIBLE thing for them to say. I am also plus size, and all the shops I went in today were accommodating, and I didn't feel embarassed at all when going into their changing rooms with the assistant. I also couldn't believe how amazing I looked (not wishing to be big headed), but when you are plus size, you have all these hang up's especially with wedding dresses that rolls of fat might be billowing over the top, or that your face might be bloated. If anyone had said that to me today, I would have probably clocked them!!I have been in the insurance industry for the past 6 1/2 years (protection products)

I walked from the shop and bumped into someone walking in (about my build) told her not to go in as apparently they don't make dresses for 'fat' people like us. She looked horrified and went inside and sacked the young lass! Oops - she was the owner!!!:rotfl::rotfl:
She offered me 20% discount off the dress of my choice - couldn't find one I liked though! :mad:
Wow, good on you, hun! Turns out you said it to the right person hehe. Serves her right though!!I have been in the insurance industry for the past 6 1/2 years (protection products)

If the favours are anything like people on here have asked for it won't be MSE style
Why do people hear the word wedding and triple prices :mad::heart2: 'Tied the Knot' Saturday 9th October 2010 :heart2::blushing: Member of Diet Club October 2010 Brides and Grooms :blushing:Starting Weight: 14 stone 10.8lbsCurrent Weight: 13 stone 2lbsTotal loss: 21.8lbs :j0 -

They think we are all in a foggy haze! Not concentrating or paying attention on what we are paying! I found that saying 'HOW MUCH?' in a loud voice helped!
My OH did lots of the ringing - booked the appointment for the venue, booked the photographer - then he tells everyone it's been really easy to plan the wedding - he doesn't know what the fuss is about!:mad::mad::mad::mad:
I have made the cake, made the flowers, bought the outfits, made the invitations, organised the food, kept control of the wedding spreadsheet, kept track of guests, made sure the registrar had the book returned and the list goes on! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: But of course it was easy!!!!0 -

25 for me:eek::eek::eek:
Everyone keeps saying that time is going really fast - I think it's going really slowly! Am sat in my wedding shoes trying to make sure they are comfortable for the wedding but I am too scared to walk in them in case I ruin them! They are so pretty! Seem quite comfortable so far but have been sat down most of the morning!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
