I arranged my own hen night, told them what they were wearing, sorted all the flower girls all because they couldn't sort it to get together, I even did their shoe shopping too, that way I knew it would be done!

I'm now being asked how are we getting to the church? I'd make them walk if I had my own way :rotfl:

My friend took my dress away yesterday - it needs altering at the top and something doing to the zip as it keeps catching! Feels really weird! She saw my dress (even on me) and went ' wow'! That makes me feel so much more confident! Woman in the bridal shop saying we don't provide dresses for fat people like you had made me feel awful! Fel all excited again now - must start wearing my shoes in the house though - 3 pairs and 3 weeks!

OMG!!!!!!!!! Someone actually said that to you?!?! How bl**dy rude. I hope you complained about her.

What is it with some people!

Well I'm properly on a countdown now. I was going to have a lie-in today and have been wide awake since 7!!!

I don't have alot to do per se for the wedding but I have so much stuff whirling around in my head.

I've just booked myself in for a back neck and shoulder massage for thursday, which work got me as a gift. Am going out to lunch with a friend in a mo.

Hey how do you upload photos on here? I'm so sorry I know this has been asked a million times!!!

Complain? Understatement -I'm only a size 16! I walked from the shop and bumped into someone walking in (about my build) told her not to go in as apparently they don't make dresses for 'fat' people like us. She looked horrified and went inside and sacked the young lass! Oops - she was the owner!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

She offered me 20% discount off the dress of my choice - couldn't find one I liked though!

Really, really stunning. Wow - it is just like the dress you were describing that you wanted and what I had pictured in my head!! What more can I say? You are going to look fantastic. :j:j:j

Thank you! I was worried it may be a bit OTT but I do love it!

Hi all, well my hairdresser (who was supposed to be charging 'mates rates') finally gave me his quote, £110 JUST for my hair (a blow dry of a bob!!) Errrrr thanks but no thanks! Found a local hairdresser who will blow dry all three of us for £50!!

Awesome. I have just had a mate who is a hairdresser offer to do my hair for me, but if she charges anymore than £25 (which is what I usually pay!) then I will be going to my normal hairdresser!

    Wow - that is alot!!

Mine's costing £60 but then mine takes ages for her to do and quite fiddly so don't mind paying that, and still seems to be cheaper than the salons down here!!!

Argh - it's my chinese wedding today. Really nervous, although i've had the benefit of attending my OH's sister chinese wedding a few years back. Should be good. Just about to go round to my MIL's to get ready and do hair and make up!!

But, am so excited - can't believe i'm getting married on Saturday. Am so praying for nice weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fingers crossed. It's miserable here at the mo and just hope it's getting its bad weather out now!!! ha ha :rotfl:

Had a nightmare stressy day as my BM text me to say she couldn't find the flower girls shoes (her daughters!). I get married on Saturday and it's the only things I've asked for them to buy themselves over 6 months ago!!!! And a week before the wedding, me and my mum traipsed everywhere!! Managed to find some and just hoping they fit. Seriously don't know what I'm going to do if they don't fit!!! Just really annoyed me as i could have done without that stress yesterday.

Does anyone else feel that one of your BM's have perhaps not been as helpful as you'd like??

    xx

Not so much myself (I am only having 1 bridesmaid - my sister who is possibly more organised than me!) but a friend of mine is getting married in December, and just the other day one of her bridesmaids (whose two daughters are also being bridesmaids) rang her to say she had gotten herself into a mess with money and won't be able to attend the wedding at all! My poor friend went into meltdown!!
