    Hello!!

Ummm, what to say, what to say!!!

Here goes then: I came to this thread because I started to want to have my 1/2 litre sherry more often. I only allowed myself one (or two) bottles per week i.e. 4 Non AF days max per week and it was getting more and more difficult to wait for the next dose. Now thanks to all you lovely people I have managed to get out of this spiraling habit and dealing with the bells that are only tinkling not tolling nowadays.

And even that I don't find the A such a problem anymore I still end up coming here because you are just such a lovely and caring bunch of people to chat with.

On that note no 17 for me please HB - hope you are feeling better!

None of the debate has put me off posting. I've just stayed quiet as I'm not sure exactly what my opinion is.

I do say that excessive alcohol consumption will be responsible for the ill health and death of many people on this thread. Not all people, not the majority of people, but many people.

I don't undersrtand how you say that? You don't know how many units anyone is consuming?
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I am just saying that drink will cause ill health and death for many people.

I think you meant to say that EXCESSIVE drinking might cause ill health. Sorry to split hairs.
