    Morning all

Hugs to you Caz, I hope once crimbo and new year is over you and OH can spent some nice time together, maybe go and see the film you wanted to see? I wouldn't worry too much about the brother's forgetting the birthday, men can be forgetful (not the one's on this thread though obviously ;)) Stop going AWOL!!

Miss P, I am desperate to take the tree down but they still won't let me, maybe I'll just ignore em :D

HB, glad to hear Bear Towers is keeping strong :D

40SM, good for you for pledging an AF January, 2010 is the year for both of us, draw a line under the last one and move on :D

Feel like crap this morning, I think I must've eaten summat dodgy yesterday as I've been up half the night _pale_ the last thing I needed was to be ill today cos I got too much to do. Washing machine's still on the blink so I need to go to the laundrette today, I didn't go weekend before last so have double the amount of washing to do. I'll feel great when it's done but it's the parking and trying to get the machines, then the dryers that I'm not looking forward to.

  • Jo,

I have also been up all night with a dodgy tummy. I think it is all the "rich" food I have been eating over the last few days ( and the wine:o). I think I will be living on salads for the next month... not really a hardship as I LOVE salad.

Sympathies over the washing machine ... I hate going to the launderette. Our fridge decided to die on us yesterday so had to hastily rush out and buy a new one . At least it did not happen on Christmas Day with all my Christmas lunch food in there:eek:.

2010 will be a good year for both of us;)

    40SM:D
  • I sense lots of positivity coming through for the new year ahead :T

Hi 40sm and nice to hear you are feeling good about 2010 and with Jo helping you along you will be fine :D

For me 2010 will be a turning point in my life as I feel if I dont do something about my drinking it will take over my life more than it is ATM and I will find myself alone and without friends and family.

Who wants that  so will take the bull by the horns and become a better person in myself and for others.

Look forward and not back I think as there is nothing I can do about what has gone but I can about what is to be ;)

Anyway doing a bit of "ripping" so must get back to that :D

I am now in that limbo land where Christmas is now over but life is not back to normal . I have definetly drank too much over the last week and now feel fat , bloated and grouchy!.

And so say all of us!!

It's not (just) the drinking but I have been eating chocolate and biscuits and cheese and crisps and massive meals and all sorts that I'm not used to. Can't wait to get back to normal next week.

I only put the decs up on 19th and I'm fed up with them already but they'll stay up until about Sunday I expect. I've got a family dinner today (French niece is cooking so anticipate it will be tasty rather than bloaty) and a birthday (not mine) lunch tomorrow but that's likely to be fattening, nibbly stuff.

Haven't decided what to do about January yet HB. I may have a target but am wondering whether to try just clocking up as many days as I can. I want to prove to myself that not drinking on 'ordinary' days is now a habit.

Won't come in on target, so calling it at 8AF please marru. And thank you very much indeed for scoring :T:T:T
